I'm sorry you've had this experience, but I have to say my experience has been the opposite. My son is pretty healthy (as is my daughter now, thank God), but my daughter had a bunch of health issues over a period of 9 months or so and my son has had the normal "typical" kid stuff over time.
In all of my several/many visits to this pediatric group, I have only had one or two times where I felt anyone there was unresponsive about anything. Yes, I have occasionally had to wait a bit long (maybe 5-10% of the time), but they have always been apologetic about it. And the doctors pursued my daughter's issues until they figured out what was going on...rather than just writing it all off as "just a virus" over and over again.
As for other good pediatricians in Allen, when we moved here 3 years ago I heard lots of negative about lots of Peds and the only positive feedback I got was for (then) Cook & Moulton pediatrics. Dr. Cook and Dr. Moulton have now separated (their practice got too big) and each has taken in another doctor. Dr. Cook now runs Raintree Pediatrics while Dr. Moulton is still in their old office in the Presbyterian Hospital medical building. I know a number of families that are happy with both offices. So if you really want to try another doctor, you might try Dr. Moulton's practice.
