Ugh...tomorrow is April 1st and we are supposed to get another snow storm. It was fun in the beginning but now even the kids are sick of the snow. My kids have had 6 snow days 2 late arrivals and 1early dismissal because of the snow this winter. I sure hope we do not have any snow.

Wow. It's supposed to be in the 90's here next week. I can't imagine having snow this late. Our school district also had 5-6 snow days this year, because of the huge storm during the superbowl. We're done with snow days for this year, fortunately!! Hope you don't get much!!

I am ALWAYS marveled at our planet Earth!!!! My sister and I spent the weekend in Round Top, Texas last Saturday and it was 92, sunny and a bit humid. I am currently peeling from the sunburn. Its been a little cooler here (Galveston County, Tx) the temp today was 82.
I have actually only been in actual snow, maybe 4 times. Never enough to blanket the warm ground. My hub is from Mass...hence, why he moved here. Just once, I would like to actually expierience snow. What on earth does it feel like to walk in 6 or 7 inches? Hmmmm?
We're expecting 8-14 " of heavy snow, with strong winds. We still have a lot of snow, which is slowly starting to melt. We snowshoed today, right by the house.. It was great. But we are ready for SPRING >). I think everyone is ready for spring around here.
That's why I moved AWAY from Idaho... I talked to my dad yesterday on the phone... he still has 4 feet+ in some places at his house!!! (we lived high up in the mountains...) He's happy for it though, becuase he just bought a new snow plane and is having a blast with it. :P
I'm ready to pack it all up and move further south!....if only my DH was as bothered by the winter as I am. I just don't get it.
And to think I've been complaining about the 41 degree weather we have been having here! Good luck with the approaching snowstorm. I will probably be envious of your weather in July and August :-)
I am *so* done with snow!!! I try to remember the old expression: "If you can't take the winter, you don't deserve the summer" but it's getting hard...

I can not believe what i have seen over your side this year for weather...my heart goes out to you...it is not sunny and rosy here...it is tolerable though. enough with the spring...shoot bring on the summer..no i need the spring to get my food into the ground for growing!!
