Anyone Really Go to or Buy These Wraps?

I'd rather throw my money out a window so someone could benefit before I'd buy into the MLM wrap scam.

Really... if it really worked and was so magical don't you think everyone would be using them and everyone would know about them? There is no magic to make you thinner, tighten skin, etc. You might think you are thinner a day or two then reality hits again.

It takes good ole nutrition, exercise, lots of water, sunscreen and for many... just good genes.

You cannot sweat off fat! Don't waste your money. I might pay $25 to go to a wrap party and have fun with other women while we wrapped ourselves and drank margaritas. But I wouldn't expect to actually lose fat that way.

Ugh, I have a cousin who sells it, and now one of my babysitters does, and she's trying to sell to me (and I HATE being solicited by friends, relatives, acquaintances or colleagues.)

My cousin's been selling them for several months, but she hasn't posted a single picture of her own progress. But she's great at sales and networking, so I have no doubt she's making plenty of money off of it.

There is no way this could work.
Just by the description I'm getting a very clear 'snake oil' vibe.
If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.

A good friend of mine started selling ItWorks products when it was very new. She fell in love with them and had a lot of success with their products in many ways (losing weight, getting off medications, feeling better in general, etc). I watched her transformation firsthand after watching her struggle for almost 10 years of various medications, personal trainers and crazy diets, so of course I was anxious to try. She actually gave me a box of wraps for free and they did virtually nothing for me, so I bought 2 more boxes, just to see...nothing. Same story for my mom and for my grandma - nothing to show, but lots of money down the drain. I know that they have worked for some people, but to me that is a lot of money to spend on something that *might* have results.

Be aware too, that ItWorks is, in fact, an MLM company whether their "consultants" want to admit it or not. Although there are people who have been successful in selling it, they make it sound way too good to be true, unless of course you are an amazing sales person.

I went to one a friend of mine hosted last week - got the wrap done to try it out, didn't really notice any difference. Of course, they say you need to chug water like crazy afterwards for 3 to 4 days to get the best effects and while I was able to drink a ton of water the first day, because of work the next day, I couldn't hardly drink anything at all (I was working a low-cost spay/neuter clinic and basically doing surgery non-stop for 10 hours straight). They also say sometimes it can take up to 3 or 4 wraps, 1 every 72 hours, to get the best results and the girl selling the stuff showed us some pics of some dramatic improvements on other people. But I'm not going to spend my money on the stuff - I like the "Greens" drink supplement that you add to drinking water but I feel that the rest of it is just a waste of money.

I have a friend who had a party and she is currently using one. She is constantly posting pictures of her body changing. I wouldn't have wanted to waste money to do this but after seeing her pictures it's a maybe now.

I think most of them just pull the water out of your skin, tightening things up on a very temporary basis. It wears off quickly. There's no magic way to get rid of fat or cellulite. It might be worth it once if you had something important to go to like a wedding or a reunion, but it's an extremely temporary fix.

I wanted to try it but not do a party, or buy from the website because I had heard so many horror stories about the company, so I bought one from Amazon. Amazon sells one wrap for $20. Didn't work. No inches lost, nothing, nada, zippo.

So if you're really itching to try it, buy from Amazon and you don't have to deal with the company.

I've known some who have tried it and the fat pops back after they stop "wrapping". Good luck.
