What have your experiences been at Winkids? Are the prices reasonable? What activities do your kids participate in there?
Have any of you used the 'salon' at the facility - if so, who did you see?
Thanks so much

They're a little more expensive, but have excellent programs. All of the staff have been great with the kids and communicate well with the parents. They also have a little movie room, so if you have another child, they can be entertained while you're there.
I've never used the salon (other than when they open it at events for adding glitter to the kids' hair and temporary tattoos) :)
Over the past 2 years my now 5-year old has taken 2 session of swim, ballet/tap, cheerleading and had a gymnastics birthday party. All were great experiences. As far as cost, I know they are more expensive than the Community Activity Ctr, we did one swim class there. But there is no comparision to the quality. We love WinKids!
I have had 3 birthday parties there for my children and we are not 'members'. The price is usually $250 per party for up to 25 kids - they set up, entertain, serve and clean up. I have been very pleased with their service. The price is about average what difference places are charging for parties, but at least this place allows up to 25 kids for the price!
On the other hand, I took my 2-yr old to a trial 'Mommy & me' dance class there and I do not plan to return for dance lessons there any time soon. The instructor had no patience with my daughter (and the class was for 18-months to 2-1/2 yr olds). There were only 2 other children and their moms in the class (and they were obviously paying for their children to be there) and they were practically staring a hole through my head because my daughter was walking around the dance studio distracting their girls. The instructor was repeatedly asking how old my daughter was and visibly upset that she would not sit down in the circle. I was there for less than 5 minutes when I just picked my daughter up and walked out without saying a word. I mean, if you advertise a class for a certain age, the instructor should be able to deal with children in this age group and understand that they are not going to immediately sit still when they are in a new place.
I have not visited the salon there.
I am considering taking 2 of my children there for swimming lessons this season. Wish me luck.
My 4 year old daughter has been taking weekly gymnastics lessons there for nearly a year now. She loves it ! They run a great program! I would definitely recommend them. Summertime might be a good time to try them out as the semester is much cheaper(because it is shorter). We signed my 4 year old up for her weekly class and it cost $210 . I think it runs end of May through end of August.
All 3 of my kids have taken swim lessons there. We have done karate, camps, and birthday parties as well. They are a little expensive but the quality of their programs is worth it. They do now offer a sibling discount so if you have other children that is helpful.
