I know that there have been other questions asking about cider mills, but I am looking specifically for a place where we can go pick the apples ourselves. If there are other activities there, too, great, but mostly I want to be able to take a family trip to pick apples. We are in Pontiac, but don't mind driving within reason.

We went to Westview and had a GREAT time. I really liked that we were able to pick the apples ourselves. We decided we will go back again sometime as well. Thanks for the ideas!

I was wondering about the good places for fall fun too. Thanks Dawn, just looked up Westview Orchards and we'll be taking the girls there within the next two weeks, looks great with apple and pumpkin picking and all of the activities for the kids!
Spicer Orchards - it is just north of M-59 off of US-23.
We love Westview Orchards, great selection of apples plus all the other fun (cider, donuts, hayrides, maze, huge play area, petting zoo etc). I think it's near Romeo.
