I just moved from Denver to LIttleton and am seeking a pediatrician or GP for my family. I have 2 girls - 3 month old and 17 month old who have been seeing a fantastic female doctor (Lowry Family Medicine) - I would like to continue with a female doctor, but can't keep driving way up to Lowry for visit. Has anyone used Arapahoe Park Pediatrics at Littleton hospital?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the good info! Based on your feedback, I scheduled an interview with one of the docs next week. Dr. G is taking new patients, but doesn't do the "get to know you" interviews. Thanks again for all your feedback!

We love Arapahoe Park Peds. We actually see Dr. McCall - who is a man, but the woman in the office, I've heard, is great too. The office staff is always friendly and helpful... I don't think the offices we go to are at the hospital.

We do see Dr. Michael Mignoli as a GP - there is a woman Dr in that office as well who is a good Dr. They are also in Littleton.

Good Luck!

We have been seeing Dr. Girardeau at Arapahoe Park Pediatrics since our son was born. She is great, has a calm demeanor and when we had some issues shortly after his birth she went out of her way- called on her days off, gave us her cell phone number, etc. to make sure we were doing alright. I would highly recommend her and the rest of the group.

I absolutely love Dr. Girardeau over there. I'd highly recommend them. They really take their time with you, and like the other poster said, she has a wonderful demeanor. I have some strong opinions about vaccines and she's been very accomodating to that.

My kids are 14 months apart too--the baby is 10 months old and my son will be two next month. I understand your feelings of being overwhelmed. It DOES get easier, I promise!

Good luck and take care.

I LOVE arapahoe park pediatrics!!! They have wonderful doctors there! I highly recommend them, especially since I tried several pediatricians before finding them.
Also, we see Dr. McCall, he is absolutely wonderful! I have heard the woman is fantastic, but she doesn't take new patients.

We go to Arapahoe Park Peds and see Dr. DeMahy. He's a man, but my daughter loves him. They do have a couple of ladies in the office, and they have seen my kids when Dr. DeMahy was out. They are also great with the kids.
