Are they still cold? If so probably fine. But if you put them out at dinner and they were in a warm house over night toss them. Next time do what I do put a stove timer on to remind you to put them in fridge before bed. I did what you did to many times to count. Finally started doing the timer haven't had to toss anything in a while.

If they're VERY cold still, I'd say cook immediately and thoroughly.
If they're room temp? Pitch.

for future reference:
after the temperature of the meat reaches 40 degrees f. you have 2 hours to use it. any longer than that and you should toss it. ( i have a food safety licence and this is whats recomended for food service)

Beef, I would still cook it. Pork, no. Hope it wasn't too expensive!!

Really, you should thaw meat in the fridge, but many, many people thaw meat all day at room temperature. The idea grosses me out, and I would never do it, but like I said, many people do it.

Well, when did you put them in the sink?? Yesterday morning? Or before bed?

I thaw meat in the sink over night all the time. Isn't that how we're supposed to do it?

Then I put in the frig first thing in the morning, or crockpot.

They're not rotten, they're just room temp. I also bring all meat to room temp before cooking anyhow, except fish.
