My daughter is almost 6 months old and I would love for her to meet other babies. Unfortunatly I have no idea how to find moms with babies around her age. Any and all sugesstions are welcome!

Do a search on meetup.com for mom events around your area. There are a ton. Checkout Bellmore Moms & Beyond (though this may be a bit far although events are all over LI). Also, do a class at Orly's Treehouse and other type of kid places to meet more people.

Congratulations on your daughter! You could join mingling moms and you could also start taking classes like Music Together or Gymboree or My Gym. Best of luck!
You may want to check "mommy (or sitter) & me" classes such as Gymboree, Music Together, or many other ones.
Did you try your local library. Mine (sachem) has TONS of babies/childrens programs where you can meet mom's & other babies your daughter's age. That is what I did.
Look into minglingmoms.com. They have events geared towards grouping moms who have kids the same age.
