Does anyone know of a good, nurturing dance school that offers classes for 3 yr-olds? (in or near Richardson, Tx) I am having trouble finding a school that is understanding of a 3 yr-olds' psyche when it comes to having the mommy in the classroom.

Our dance studio isn't real close( we live near Richardson, too) but Miss Amanda is wonderful. She's animated, sweet, enthusiastic and great with little children. She has a Mommy and Me class for the younger children. Her studio is small(which I like) and is called Amanda Dalton School of Dance and she's located near White Rock Lake. It's about 15-20 minutes from our house. Her website is www.addance.com. It's worth the drive...I can't say enough good things about her.

Try the Centre for Dance, at Coit/Campbell in Dallas. It's in the Marshall's Shopping Center, between Marshall's and Natural Grocer. I don't know if they have classes for that young, but I've met the personnel there and they're very nice. If they don't take children that young, perhaps they would know a studio that does and could refer you to them.
