I ziplock freezer bag and then wrap in foil. Or if you will eat them somewhat soon just plastic wrap very well.
Ok, I just made one of the recipes (pumpkin bread instead of banana this time) you moms suggested - WOW - is it YUMMY! Now my question is, what is the best way to store these 2 large pumpkin bread loaves so they stay fresh?

I copied that recipe from your original post and thought it sounded awesome. Now I REALLY can't wait to try it! I use foil or a plastic empty bread bag (if I have one) to store it for a few days on the counter, if it lasts that long! Banana bread always goes quick! And you can freeze the 2nd loaf. Now I'm craving that bread and can't wait to try the pumpkin version! yummy!
I'm with Jane....wrap in foil and then in a freezer bag to freeze. I'll have to go back and look at that post and try this pumpkin bread! Sounds good!
Ha! So funny, I do just the opposite of Elizabeth H - I wrap in foil and then freezer ziplock if you want to freeze. Otherwise just wrap well - I find pumpkin bread stays fresh for about a week, so longer than other breads. Enjoy!
You can store them in a ziplock bag either in the fridge or they will also freeze.
If you plan to keep them more than 24 hours, please wrap them tightly and refrigerate. Fruit breads will ROT and be super nasty on your table or countertop. The chilled ones need an hour or so to come to room temp if you plan to serve them that way, or you could warm each slice in the microwave or toaster and keep the whole thing cold for safety.
Enjoy!
Made Banana Choc-Chip Bread last night with the kids (thanks to your first post). Had fun making and eating. Don't think I'll have to worry about storing it! ;)
