I have a two part question:
1) I am about to do a project with my youth girls (almost 9th graders). We are talking about how we should look at ourselves the way God looks at us rather than see all the imperfections. What I want is to hear from all of you beautiful mamas about what you think is beautiful in God's eyes. I am going to print out the responses and use them in a discussion with my girls before they begin the school year. I want them to see the difference in what the world views as beautiful versus what God views as beautiful. So if you could tell me a few things about what God sees as beautiful traits and characteristics (they don't all have to be physical either), that would be great. AND THEN I WANT ALL OF YOU TO READ IT AND KNOW YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL TOO!!
2) Part of this project is to create a collage about themselves and all the beautiful God given traits that they have using words and pictures from magazines. However, I do not subscribe to any magazines. I'm going to ask them to bring some, but if any of you have any that are just laying around and you want to get rid of them (near the Keller area please), I would love to take them off of your hands! Just PM me and let me know.

Beautiful is a look in the mirror. Being able to love yourself and being proud of how you are. Beautiful is being true and honest with yourself and everyone around you. Beautiful is being able to hold your head high when you have to make a decision that is not the easiest and might not be what your friends think is "cool"

When we emulate Him, we are beautiful. No matter what our size or color no matter what our age or any physical condition LOVE makes us beautiful and when we love, those that we love, feel beautiful as well.

There are several good bible studies out there geared for young women. But Proverbs 31:10-31, Titus 2:4-5, I Peter 3:1-4 are probably a good place to start. Here is a cheap bible teen bible study $3.00 and download. I have heard it is good, but never used it.
