Hello!! My hubby and I would like to have a nice weekend at a secluded B&B. Our first baby is due in Sept, so we'd like some time alone before he/she gets here. We'd really like somewhere between April and July, somewhere that will give us relief from the Texas heat! No air travel, but we are willing to drive to surrounding states. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!
How about somewhere in the southern mountains of New Mexico? Would that be too far of a drive? Ruidoso and Cloudcroft are absolutely gorgeous that time of year.

There are some great ones in Fredericksburg. Hyatt Regency has a Hill Country Resort near San Antonio. Lost Pines Resort near Bastrop is wonderful. I have several friends go there and love it. Very relaxing.
Hummer House in Christoval, TX is secluded. It is about 45 minutes from San Angelo in West Texas. Fredericksburg has much more to do but you might not want to move your car rather than walk the entire town while pregnant.
Brother and sister-in-law celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary here: www.shilohmorning.com. They absolutely loved it. They had their own cottage, away from the main house. Their pictures looked wonderful. Maybe one day hubby and I can escape to this or some other place...! ;o)
Paluxy River Bed Cabins. :) They have a website. Very secluded. Hot tubs. A great escape. We go annually.
Fredriciksburg and Salado have great B&Bs.
