Kind of a fun question...my husband and I are both huge college football fans...the problem...I'm a huge Iowa fan and he LOVES Iowa State. Huge rivalry! They play against each other every year and we place a bet every year. He's lost everytime we have bet...yeah for me. But, I need some fun ideas for this year on what he will have to do if ISU loses. He's had to do a month of dishes(I HATE doing dishes), he had to wear an Iowa Hawkeyes shirt to work...too funny. I have a couple of ideas of what he would have to do, but would like more options! There really isn't any other housework that I hate, so I think doing something like that is out.
Any ideas???
What about cleaning the toilets mom and or the tubs and toilets for a month. Can you get an Cyclone cheerlading costume somewhere? If so, make him wear it on Halloween when he takes the kids trick or treating, I am a grad of ISU in 84, go Cyclones and husband '82. When did you attend. I have relatives who are Hawkeyes and a great nephew who just started as freshman at IA :( Go Cyclones! :D
Your poor husband... he doesn't have a snowball's chance in you know where of winning that bet! Iowa State is TERRIBLE!
(You need to give him an over/under bet to be kind).
That being said, here are some ideas:
- Make him take you to a "chick flick" type movie
- Have him cook dinner for you
- Do you have young kids? if so, Diaper duty for a week
- If he has a good sense of humor, dress him like an Iowa cheerleader for Halloween
- Make him try something new with you that he otherwise wouldn't want to try (like ice skating, etc)

I keep thinking or dressing up as a lady and have a picture taken that is placed on the family photo wall,lol. On house hold ideas, can he do the clothes? Breakfast in bed every Sunday for a month.
How about breakfast in bed for you every Saturday and Sunday for 4 weeks.
I like to make my husband give me a full body massage when he loses a bet. Really, it's a win win for both of us ;)

And the game is coming up!!!! I am an ISU grad/fan (graduated in '85) and I hope you lose! (A lot of my friends are Iowa grads so I might have to do something like this with them!) LOL Anyhow, how about the loser has to get a magnet of the opposing team and display it on the car for a month?

How about the winning school 's fight song as everyone's ring tone for a month. That way every time the phone rings they can have a freindly reminder and the other person can sit back and chuckle when they are the one calling a few extra times to say Hi!
Back/foot rubs daily for a month?
When my hubby and I make bets, we always pledge to give "My life, my all," if we lose. So every loss is a win for us both.
