Beyblade

I noticed they are doing a big sales push for those for the holidays. My boys had them. They are okay but limited so can get boring. Not sure if he's an outdoor kid or not? Does he already have a razor scooter? Skateboard? When my son was eight he got one of those marble towers where you build different towers and pathways and send the marbles down. Kinda cheesy but had all of my kids playing with it (and dad too!) and you can constantly change the pathway so it's not the same every time.

yes, my 8yr old son loves them. I'm also getting him a MP3 player preloaded with songs by me! He's not "into" much either. I've bought him the new mario game for Wii too. I was thinking of getting him his first "cologne" spray stuff for Christmas this year too - it might just be a stocking stuffer. I bought some board games - Harry Potter Scene It, Apples to Apples and Mousetrap - used from Craigslist and those will go to both of my kids for Christmas. The only other thing that I can think of is books?

This is the current obsession with the kids in my son's third grade class. They play it at recess every day.
