My 2 year old son loves big trucks that he can push around without being on his knees. Problem is, I have a hard time finding them that big. Usually I can find tonkas, but those area bit short for him to push, he still loves them, but dad and I are looking for bigger for Christmas gifts. Any ideas on websites, stores, brands, etc would be very helpful. Thanks!

What can I do next?

Both of my boys have loved the ride on-scoot types of vehicles. They can sit on them and scoot with their feet, and they can also push them everywhere, which is what happens most. The play lawn mowers are a big hit as well! You can find any of them at Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, etc.

Oh -and get a Little Tykes car! They LOVE to ride in them and push them! They're Fred Flinstone mobiles -totally foot-powered.

My son loves trucks too. When he was one we got him the Fisher Price Tuff Rumblin Truck and the Tuff Rumblin Front Loader (they also have a fire engine). They are large for pushing. No batteries, but they rumble. They come with a worker and they dump and lift with levers to pull (It was a while before my son could use the lever on the loader it's a little tougher to move). The truck is durable too. My son is almost six and he still plays with his. His two year old sister also LOVES to push it around. We got ours at Toys R Us. I am sure they were less than $20 at the time.

I also second a little tykes car. We had one that was adored and used all the time.

maybe you could look online at toys r us. I have seen, at Christmas time, big trucks, wheelbarrows, and such, loaded up with legos and sold as "legos" not big trucks. You could also maybe look on ebay or craigslist, I know those types of trucks can be expensive, and maybe someone could be selling them at the holidays.

My son has a Little Tikes mac type truck that he loves to push around. The trailer part opens up on the side and the back and he stores all kinds of things in it. It also detaches easily from the cab and he loves to zoom around the house pushing the cab. I got it used and it was already well played with, but I'm sure they still make some version of it - I know they have a car carrier version of it now.

I have seen other large trucks at target.
