Hwy 175 toward kaufman is the only place I've seen them. We went to east Texas this past weekend, and either before or right when we were getting into kaufman is where we found them. Of course that's the only place I've seen them so far.
Just wondering has anyone seen any good patches of bluebonnets that would be good for taking pictures with a 3 1/2 and 1 year old.
Thanks!

I've just seen a few small patches, it's really too early give it till about the 1st or 2nd weekend in April then the empty lot in Grapevine that's next to the Ford Dealership gets crazy with them. It's a frontage road off of 114. If you head East on 114, Exit at Texan Trail and turn left go across the bridge and then turn left by the gas station. Stay on the frontage road and turn right onto Trinity Parkway, if there are too many cars to park on Trinity then turn right at the stop sign at the end of Trinity and park in the back of Ford's parking lot - there's usually lots of space.
Hi P.,
I talked to a friend that said there are some beautiful blue bonnets in a small park off HWY 78 before you get to Farmersville. I am thinking about driving up there to take some picture tomorrow. She said they were some of the prettiest blue bonnets she has ever seen. I know this is not near Ft. Worth but thought I would share the information with you anyway.

THere is some along 30 going west by Hulen,.
Keep in mind, public areas with bluebonnets are generally off-limits. They are wildflowers and protected by the state of TX. You will see signs in the patches, and can be fined for disturbing them.
If you are having a professional take the pictures, they should know some "safe" areas to do it. If not, make sure you check out the area first.
Good luck!
I've seen them along 121 so I know they're "out there" but that road is WAY too busy to take pictures, and not good enough, anyway. I'm keeping my eyes open too. Last year we took pictures in Westlake and we'll be going there later this week for my husband's lunch hour...if I see anything great I'll let you know.
