T.M.
I have two favorites. Organic coconut oil and organic almond- oil both are easy to find on Amazon. They are a dry oil. Love them.
I'm getting older now, sigh. My old favorites aren't really doing the job anymore. I'm not as soft as I used to be (well in some ways).
Anyway, I've tried Lubriderm and Curel, both of which I found to be a little greasy, or waxy.
What's your favorite lotion?
Have a great weekend, Ladies!
:)

I like Coconut oil. It absorbs very well into my skin.
I use Jose Moran Argon oil on my face along with my Clinique routine.
Argan Dry Oil
Coconut oil based body lotions, or even just coconut oil
Udder Balm (look it up online).
Bag Balm
Clinique body lotions are nice too.
california baby makes some with calendula which I love.
my grandmother had the nicest skin, she would scrub with olive oil and sugar. it makes a right mess of the tub/ shower though.
Good luck to you and yours,
F. B.
Shea butter - not greasy, absorbed quickly, and a little goes a long way.
I use a combination of organic natural oils.
I use almond oil on my face. I love it and it makes my skin so soft.
I use organic shea butter on my body. I like how quickly it absorbs. Sometimes I will use organic coconut oil, but lately in the summer I've been preferring the shea butter because it soaks in better.
The oils will take a little while to absorb and you may need to blot some off. In the long run it will be SO MUCH BETTER for your skin since your skin is your largest organ and it absorbs everything you put on it!
The dermatologist likes Cera Ve, Theresa. It's on the expensive side, but you can get it from the drug store. It is hypoallergenic and it penetrates the top layer of skin instead of just sitting on top of it. (Not a good way to explain it, but there ya are! LOL!) I like the pump bottle better than the jar because it's not as thick.
We use Cerave on my son every day. It works really well and isn't too greasy at all. It feels nice on my hands after I've put it on him.
I'm with TF, Coconut oil!!
I love it for my skin and hair.
I really like Gold Bond's chamomile cream lotion. It's not greasy, and keeps my skin soft.
Organic coconut oil. I buy a big tub of it and keep a smaller amount in a glass jar. I use it all over liberally. It is so good and healthy for you, even helping with cellulite. if you belong to Costco they sell it at a great price where I live.
Layers by Scentsy - Body lotion and body butter. Feels awesome and smells fantastic. www.flamelesswarmer.com
Almond oil or coconut oil is great for the skin but I've recently discovered Albolene and I love it!
You can find it on Amazon or Walgreen's carries it.
It's scent free and it has a very simple list of ingredients.
It melts on contact with skin.
Apply it very lightly - it can feel a little oily for a short while.
When I put it on my face or legs my skin is extremely soft the next day.
It's cheap and has been around forever. Queen Helene cocoa butter lotion. It's great moisturizer and it soaks in wonderfully. :-)
Big fan of Aveeno moisturizers.
Cetaphil, or generic equivalent. I also use sunscreen lotion during the cold weather. My hands get very dry & scaly in the winter. I have tried every lotion. Had some leftover sunscreen lotion. Used it every morning after my shower, & every night before I went to bed. My hands were never dry, & never even cracked like they normally do in the winter. Since the lotion is water resistant, it locks in the body moisture. And I can wash my hands as needed during the course of the day & they stay soft.
I prefer cream to lotion. I like St. Ives.
It also helps to not shower or bath with strong bar soaps. Use gentle cleansers, exfoliate weekly in a warm bath with salt soaks/scrubs, and I do like the newer Lubriderm lotions that are made with Shea or Cocoa butters.
I also like Aveeno during the summer and Nivea during the winter.
I have always used Neutragena on my face but like Eucerin for body. Its pretty sheer and not greasy-but kind of pricey-worth it though. Good luck!
If you are concerned about chemicals --- try an organic cream or oil.
Do you have a gd quality health food store near you?
Aveeno or Cetaphil. Unscented. Neither feel greasy in my opinion, plus I can get them at Costco :-)
Any of the body butters from The Body Shop. They make my skin so soft! Not greasy at all.
I like Avon's Moisture therapy daily skin defense
Hi Theresa, I ONLY use natural, organic stuff...the skin is the largest organ after all! I choose Isagenix. My rep told me that it is so natural I could eat it! LOL! Now I haven't tried but... ;)
I use the entire line the suncreen, great on my nieces and nephews too, right to the intensive serum stuff. Seriously, my students told me that in the past 7 years I look 10 years younger!

I hope you find what you are looking for!
I use Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream. We use it for the whole family. We bought it when my daughter got fifth disease during the winter a couple years ago. She had he worst chapped cheeks because of it! I got fifth disease as well and used it for me. I've been using it ever since.
It's super gentle, soaks in fast so it isn't oily or greasy. I love it!
I'm a lotion freak. My favorite is moisturel (it's unscented). It's not easy to find but it completely blends into my skin without any greasy feeling whatsoever. I swear by it. That's what I use for my face and neck. For my legs and arms I use Victoria's Secret vanilla lotion mixed with a little of the moisturel so the scent is not so strong.
My current 3 favorite body lotions are Olay, Mary Kay, and Aveeno.
I used to always buy the cheapest lotion available, but my skin was looking awful, especially my legs. I got some Olay (in the purple bottle) and after the first use I was stunned at how nice my skin looked. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell, most of the varieties are very strong.
I also love Mary Kay's "Visibly Fit" lotion. It also has the same INSTANT results as the Olay but without the smell. It has a lot of natural extracts so I worry less about using it long-term.
Currently I use Aveeno the most. I can get a bulk pack at Sams Club which makes it the cheapest of the 3. It is mostly scent free as well.
I swear by Gold Bond Ultimate restoring with CoQ10. It has a nice scent and it doesn't leave me feeling greasy. I put it on right after I shower and every time that I wash my hands. If you put lotion on before you dry off completely after a shower, lotion will help to lock in the moisture.
