I posted a queastion about divorce support groups but I cant find any in my area! You would think they would have something somewhere around here! So now I am wondering about books. I know there are tons of diffrent books out there on the subject but was just wondering what anyone of you woman liked or found helpful or not helpful! I really need to learn how to accept the situation and move on for the sake of myself, my daughters and my unborn son. Thanks so much for your support!

A NEW Positive Divorce Recovery Book for You and Your Other Website Members ( I may do a Webinar for Divorce Recovery, any interest in that?)

I was hoping you might also have some interest in my book as another source of help. I can offer you DOUBLE the book discount, that I have below, as affiliate sales through my own website and PayPal account for you and your members as you wish.

I have just published a book on divorce recovery called "Yes, There Is an Upside of Divorce, It Can Be Your Second Chance at Life!" You can search "upside of divorce" on Amazon and read the great reviews I have there. One of my top 5-Star ratings is from Tracy, who is the owner of a national web support group called Woman’s Divorce (com).

My book has a more positive approach to divorce recovery and also goes further about how to make a happier and more enjoyable life after divorce.

For just $12 or so, my book could be another reference book or a gift of help from you to other family and friends suffering through their divorce or separation.

Book Discounts are available on my own website, Self-Help-Products-and-Services (com) where you can save $4 to $7 off Amazon’s costs per book.

I’m sure most, if not all of those who buy, will find some good help in my book.

My ISBN is 978-1-4196-9304-5. I also have a workbook version that could be used for support groups.

If there are other people you think I should contact or those who may want to contact me, please let me know.

Again, Thanks for a chance here to help someone.

My Mom & StepDad are leaders at their church for a program called divorce care. Here is a website to find a group that is close to your home. The web address is www.divorcecare.org, I sure hope that you get the support that you need. You can enter your zipcode in order to find a local support group of the divorce care program near you.

Where my Mom & StepDad are apart of the program is at New Life Christian Fellowship in Grand Blanc, MI. The address and phone number is:
###-###-####

having not been divorced myself I'm not exactly sure but I do come from a divorced family. My parents got divorced when I was about 5 and then both had multiple divorces after through my growing up years. It was incredibly hard on me. I read a book that was recommended to me and as I was reading it I was wishing that my parents would read it as well. It's called, Generation EX and I think the authors name is Jennifer but I can't remember the last name. I found it to be extremely helpful and hopefully it will be the same for you.

I did not see your first post. But, you may want to check out the churches in your area. I live in Plymouth, and when my friend was divorcing she found support at a Divorced group through Northridge Church. She was not a member of that church (she is very catholic)...but they welcomed her as a part of the group. I believe it helped her out quite a bit. Maybe you could check out their website and call the church to see if they have a "sister" parish out near you?? Good luck to you.
