It was really clean. The most you see is a kiss. I took my two 4 year olds to see it. He will love it.
If you have seen the Captain America movie, can you please tell me if there is anything really inappropriate for some one under 13? I know the rating is PG-13, but as long as there is no sex or nudity, and mild language, I don't mind the kids seeing it. My son is a HUGE super hero fan, so he wants to see it....But I don't want to have to pay twice so I can see it first, then take him.
Thank You!
Thanks everyone!! My son is 6, but he loves action, so I think he will be okay seeing it. He has been to movies before so I know he can sit through it. Even if he doesn't follow the story line perfectly, he will like to see Capt America in action. I appreciate all the feed back!!

Check out www.commonsensemedia.org , whenever I have questions or doubts about a movie I refer to this website. It will tell you about any parts that may be questionable, such as language, sex, alcohol consumption and some other things as well.
The youngest I would suggest depending on maturity is 10
After a bunch of research, I have decided to take my 5 year old. He loved Iron Man and Spiderman, so I think this is fine.
We went. My youngest (daughter) is 10. I would think it would be fine for any kids that can follow a lot of dialogue. There really isn't bad language or anything to worry about at all... just the "boredom" factor for the younger kids.
The Red Skull is kinda creepy--but if your kid loves super hero stuff, he won't be bothered a bit. He'll probably think it's cool. How old is your son?
There are two kisses and that's it. Very wholesome!
It was a great movie. I loved it. I don't believe it was appropriate for children under 10. I'm very conservative when it comes to my children and what they see. There was much violence. I did see people with really little kids at the theatre but I never would have taken my kids to see it being that little.
The choice ultimately is yours.
FYI - stay through the end of the credits.
In my opinion this is the best movie to set the stage for the upcoming AVENGERS movie. I'd actually pay to see it again.
