Does anyone know of a good cardiologist in the area that DOES NOT work out of Brandon Hospital?
Bay Area Cardiology is a wonderful group. (Dr. Betzu, Dr. Mester, Dr. Bugni, Dr. Tamboli, Dr. Khant, Dr. Chokshi....) They have privledges @ Brandon Hosp but also go to Tampa General Hosp and South Bay Hosp.
Dr Fadi Matar. Definitely to to Tampa General dr's. It is one of the best heart hospitals in the country.
You don't say if they have insurance or not. There are a lot of good doctors in the USF area. I would check them out.
there is a james smith who works out of university hospital he is a christian and also a good doctor im told by many folks who have been to him.he is well spoken of.they have a new heart unit at university.its called pepin heart center it is also supposed to be good.phone number is ###-###-####
USF has a great group. For general Cardiology Dr Peter Knight is great, I worked with him in my pre baby days! Good luck!
Yes, Dr. James Smith is an excellent cardiologist. He works in the USF area, which leads me to believe that the hospital he works in would be UCH-Fletcher, but I'm not sure of that.
