Charm Bracelets like Pandora?

Hi moms. I recently saw a commercial for modular charm bracelets - I believe the company is Pandora. I'm not a big jewelry wearer, but I really like the modular bead design (the dangle stuff just isn't my thing). I checked out the prices for the Pandora line and it's above what I would feel comfortable spending or asking someone to spend on me.

Has anyone found charm bracelets/charms LIKE pandora but in a more reasonable price range?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you mamas! Keep the ideas coming. I just found a website called pugster.com that has lots of charms of all price ranges. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes open. This would be perfect for my hubby as a gift source - he feels bad cause he doesn't buy me jewelry - I told him I don't really WEAR it, so it would be wierd if he DID buy it for me (LOL). But this type of thing I WOULD wear :) YEAH!

I don't know what Pandora's price range is, but Brighton has an awesome selection of charms and all kinds of ideas for bracelets, should you want some guidance. The bracelet is around $22 and the charms range from about $8 to $25 each. I hope this helps!

Jovana Collections has Pandora style charms for really good prices. They are very similar quality and materials at more of a factory direct price. <a href="http://www.jovanacollections.com&quot; target="new">Charms</a>

I have seen Pandora-look bracelets advertised at several stores. Kohl's and Steinmart are a couple I remember, but I think you can find them in most department stores, at least in the south. Good luck!

I saw beads at Hobby Lobby and at the Hallmark store here in San Antonio. I bet they're everywhere. You'll get the same look for a tenth of the price.

The thing I like about my Pandora bracelet is that I started with the $50 bracelet and one bead. Now on my anniversary my husband just has to go get one more bead. Then on my birhtday he can go pick out another bead. So I am getting a nice gift and it's very simple for him. I have about 10 beads now with more room on my bracelet. It's taken about 3 years to get the ten beads.

My mom has both the Pandora AND the Hobby Lobby cheapo kind. She likes both and wears the Pandora more on special outings. The cheapo kind she will mix and match to fit her outfit.

you could buy the beads and make it yourself with special charms that relate to use. i actuallt did this just last night. it has all modular charms except one that does dangle (a periwinkle colored awareness ribbon)

I don't know who copies who, but my wife received a Trollbeads bracelt for Christmas. It's much like Pandora, and probably competitively priced. The good thing is that you don't have to fill the bracelt all at once - the stones and charms can be collected over time, and they are more reasonably priced individually (much like my collection of tools).

The Pandora line is beautiful.....but I checked them out on line and once I looked at what I wanted on it..the price was about $400 (and I really didn't have very much on it). WAAAAY too pricey for me (or anyone else to spend on me).

I googled charm bracelets and a bunch of options came up. Some were on line ordering only though. I didn't get a chance to look through too many of the sites though.

They are all over down here in the south. My husband bought me a Brighton charm bracelet. It is the same kind of thing except the clasp is a more standard design. The beads run almost half the price as Pandora. Also, Belk's department stores carry a line they call SilverWorks with "originality beads".. it looks like the same thing, except they don't have gold, it's all silver. lol They are priced more in line with the Brighton line, but the clasp appears to be like the Pandora bracelet's.

Here's a link to Belk's Silverworks items:

Look around, you can find what you are looking for.

I LOVE my Pandora. I highly recommend getting something like it. My mom has the Camilla brand which isn't much cheaper, but our local stores that sell them will have sales on them or allow you to use coupons, so they become cheaper. Pretty similar in quality to Pandora. The other option would be to do as another mom suggested and just start with the bracelet and one bead. Right now, mine only has two charms on it (hoping for a third and fourth during my birthday and anniversary), but it still looks just lovely! Enjoy!

P.S. If this is something you think you would wear for a long time, think about the practicality of buying something more expensive...it may cost more initially, but Pandora comes with a lifetime warranty. I would rather spend $50 up front and know that 30 years from now it can still be fixed than buy something junky...that's just me though...

My husband bought me a "pandora-like" bracelet for Christmas from Hallmark. I love it! The price is very reasonable too. I think the bracelet itself was about $14 and the charms were an average of $7. I love the Pandora line but can't fathom spending that kind of money for one.
