I am having a dessert party where the main food will be a chocolate fountain. How do I make sure or request that people don't double dip their food in the fountain. What do you think about a little sign that stated "Please no double dipping?" Thanks for you input.

What can I do next?

I agree with Janet--use bite sized pieces with toothpicks. We had one at Christmas and used toothpicks--if we hadn't done that--fingers would have ended up in the chocolate!!

I sgree with the bite sized pieces and cups...I think a sign might be construed as a little tacky.

We put little plactis cups next to ours so they could take the food and a cup of chocolate back to the table with them.

Then they could double dip all they wanted in their cup.

I had a friend who had a chocolate fountain at her wedding shower. She put a sign next to it that said "You can give it a twirl but NO Double-Dipping!!" (She said she found the phrase online)
It was a cute card with smiley faces for a border.
