Cruisers or Baby Dry

Just a quick question ... my daughter will be out of Pamper's Swaddlers very soon and will be moving on to the next size, but what's the difference between Cruisers and Baby Dry? I would like to stick with Pampers and would love to hear from moms who've tried either or both and can let me know which they prefer. Maybe I should get both? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I haven't tried the cruisers, but I use the Baby Dry. I always have gotten them for my son because you get more diapers for the same price. My son crawls everywhere, and is starting to walk, and through all this, he still doesnt leak. Thats why I never tried the Cruisers, I never felt like I needed anything extra.

I personally use Cruisers because my son has quite a round belly and Cruisers easily wrap around his midsection. Baby Dry doesn't have as much elastic and "give" as Cruisers. I haven't had a problem with middle of the night leaks, and my little guy loves drinking milk and water during the day (he sleeps 12 hours straight at night).

My advice is to test them out and see which ones work for you. We did that initially with all diapers and after massive blowouts with Huggies and Luvs after wearing only one diaper, we decided to stick with Pampers.

Hi M.,
I have a 2 yr. old son. I must say that I'm a cruisers by day and baby dry by night!! I find the baby dry holds in the wetness better for those huge nightime diapers! But during the day, nothing beats the cruisers! Happy diapering!

I have boys so I am not sure if it is any different with girls but I use Cruisers - they are a bit more expensive but they absorb a whole lot more. Both of my sons have to be changed in the middle of the night with the Baby Dry but with Crusiers they usually make it through the night without leaking. The Cruisers also have more elastic in the band which allows the diaper to stretch more while they are going about their day.

Also I am not sure if you save Pamper points but they are on every package of diapers and wipes - you redeem them online at Pampers.com ... I have gotten so much free stuff for the kids - it is great :)

Hi M.,
CRUISERS, I loved them, My son is potty trained now but I used them, he was always on the move and they stretched with him. Good Luck.

I am a huge cruisers fan. The baby dry diapers are just so bulky. When I tried them they did not have elastic tabs - however that may have changed - but I feel the elastic makes it more fitting and comfy for what my husband calls the babies body shape as "frog bellies."

The cruisers have he elastic tabs and they are thinner and sleek, which I like. The only time they leak is if baby has a huge messy BM or if there is too much urine overnight-in that case huggies overnights are best.

HTH!

I personally am a Baby Dry mom, however I ren a home daycare business, so I have experience with both. My daughter is what many might call a chubby "healhy" baby and Baby Dry works best on her, they are a little bulkier, but so is my daughter. One of the babies that I care for is a thin baby and the cruisers work great for her. I tried the Cruisers for my daughter, but the diaper didn't seem to cover her bulk. I think the Baby Dry diapers hold a lot more and the Cruisers are slimmer. I personally would try both and see which one you like. with my lder children (ages 7 and 5 years old) I hated the Baby Dry diapers. They were very stiff and not flexible at all, they have come a long wat in 5 years. I would definately recommend them!!

I can't agree more - Cruisers are worth the money. Try diapers.com and check with your local big box cost. Delivery is free and takes less than 3 days. Diapers (and every baby necessity you can think of) right to your door - a blessing! :) There is a referral program so if you're interested in ordering I can send you a $5-off-your-first-order coupon! Email me at ____@____.com. Happy days!!

I've always preferred Cruisers. They are very much like the Swaddlers. They are softer, more like an elastic material, and move easily... and to me, seem to fit better. Regular Pampers are more plastic-like, stiffer and bulky. I received some Baby Dry from a friend and after a few leaks and reddness, tossed them and went back to Cruisers. All the best to you and your daughter!
