if you use the prebiotic start with a teeny tiny amount and build up.
After hearing someone's suggestion of this product I wanted to try for my 3 1/2 old son who is consistently gasy and irritable stomach. He suffers from constipation pretty bad also. Has anyone ever tried and was is the recommended use. They come in little packets?

K.,
I use the same one as Patty W. It absoulutely does not have to be refrigerated. It is guaranteed to deliver much more good bacteria than any other brand.

My daughter used it for about year when she was on long-term antibiotics. We used it to keep her system in balance so she didn't develop yeast infections.
I'm a little leary of any probiotic that is not refrigerated. Everything I've read says the best way to keep the cultures alive is by refrigerating. We get ours in the fridge section of our natural food stores/ Whole Foods. They have lots of versions for kids there.
Good luck!
