Hi J.,
Don't have a dentist for you but I really like my OB/GYN - Dr. John Paraskos ###-###-####). I've seen most of the doctors in the practice and they're all very nice. They have several locations, too.
Good Luck!
Hi Ladies,
I am on a search for a new dentist and possibly an OB GYN. I had a dentise I absolutely loved in Worthington, but one day I called to schedule, and they told me they weren't taking my insurance anymore. My current dentist is just okay, and when I leave there with plaque still on my teeth, it doesn't make me happy. I am on the westside of Columbus, and would prefer someplace fairly close, but am willing to drive since you don't go that often. As for the OB GYN, I am debating about switching. I wish I could say I love my OB, but I don't. I believe he know's what he's doing and he's been doing it awhile, but I always feel rushed when in his office, and there are some things I don't ask him because he gives me the feeling of rushing me out, etc. I have heard that is reason enough to switch. There's a female doc there I saw once and really liked, but I feel funny about asking to switch since its still in the same practice. My husband says who cares, but I would feel funny if I had to see my old doc and he might wonder why I switched. Its a big practice (Columbus OB GYN), so there are plenty of docs to see you or deliver for you if yours is on vacation, which I like, but now their office is only going to be delivering at the new Dublin Methodist Hospital, and I'm not sure how I feel about that either. I would like to hear from anyone who has an OB GYN they love and why as I consider switching. Thank you ladies!

I know a wonderful dentist in Worthington, Alan Wood. I have been going to him for over 20 yrs. He's in Worthington Hills, on 315. ###-###-#### 7870 Olentangy River Rd 43235

As for a dentist, I see David Dixon. He is off of Georgesville Rd (on Holt). I had trouble finding a dentist I liked, but I really like him.
I also go to Columbus OBGYN and love my doctor. I see Mollie Ezzie. I also saw Dr Charles (I think it was her) once while my doc was on maternity leave and loved her as well. I delivered at Dublin before they made the official switch and loved it there. There were a few things I missed out on because they were only open for a month and didn't have everything ready, but I would deliver there again. In fact, I had to go the ER once and made my husband take me there instead of Drs West, which is only 2 minutes away!
I go to Columbus OB/GYN and I see Dr Green I have been going there for a while and never had a problem until recently when I called in about real bad stomach pains that was getting worse by the day they got me in and did an ultrasound but the doctor was not there to go over and the next day when the nurse called they down played my pain like it wasnt there not one time did the Dr take the time to talk to me. Needless to say I ended up in emergency and currently looking for a new gyn.
I see Christina Charles at Columbus OBGYN and I LOVE HER!!! She is very nice and friendly and never makes you feel rushed and answered a million questions if you have them. She delivered my son 2 years ago and will deliver this baby in May, supports VBAC which is important to me and all in all is just a very easy person to talk to. My mom and sister as well as my good friend all see her and love her to pieces. They don't have any problem with you switching doctors but you can only do it once within the practice, they don't want you doctor hopping. My mom saw Dr. Blose for years and just switched to Dr. Charles because he's getting older and will probably retire in the near future. Nobody made her feel weird about switching either. It's more important that you are happy and comfortable with your doctor.
Dublin Methodist is a beautiful hospital and very quiet and calming, nothing like Mt. Carmel West were I delivered my son. I have had to go to the ER a few times and have been very pleased with everything. We took our hospital maternity tour recently and my husband is as excited as I am to have our baby there! If you aren't sure about the hospital I would highly recommend taking a tour, its free and you don't have to be pregnant. It feels more like a nice hotel than a hospital :)
My dentist in Dr. Dana Walters in Hilliard. My entire family (mom, dad, sister and husband) all go to him and nobody has left unhappy yet. They are VERY thorough about getting that plague and even though nobody really enjoys going to the dentist, I'm always happy after I've left. They also don't make you feel like a horrible person if you aren't flossing enough, they just remind you that it's important and assume you are adult enough to do it. I like not being nagged. The office staff is also very friendly.
I would recommend my OB GYN to anyone and anyone at the practice, and I have recommended her to others. Dr. Kimberly Shepherd at Kingsdale OB/GYN. They deliver at Riverside and OSU, and like yours there is always someone on-call. The office that I go to is on Lane avenue just west of 315, and they also have an office in Powell. I just delivered my second child and she delivered both and she made both experiences as comfortable and easy as possible. I have seen some of the other practitioners in the office when she has been out and they have been just as good.
As for OBs, I see the midwives at Professionals for Women's Health and I love them. I believe they have an office in Dublin and they deliver at all the major hospitals. I feel like I'm getting really good care there as one midwife, when taking my health history as a new patient, caught an issue my thyroid that I believe has been undetected for at least 10 years. I never saw myself as a person who wanted midwife care specifically but my regular doc suggested a group when I was in NC and I loved them there so I looked for a replacement here when we moved, found PWH and have been very happy with their care.
Here's another interesting way to find a new OB. I had a friend in Chicago who asked the grumpiest woman she knew if she liked her OB/GYN and she did. She figured if that lady was happy (who was pretty hard to please) that she would likely be happy too. She switched to her ob/gyn and she was happy with the switch. :)
Hello. I go to Drs. Hospital Family Practice Center in Grove City for family doctor and OB GYN. I like the doctors. They are nice and have time for my questions that I have for them. They are willing to explain about things. I don't feel rushed when I visited there. I go to Ohio Urgent Dental Care in Grove City. I went there last year for the first time, and I like it so far. I don't know if you would want to drive all way from Worthington, but it is up to you. Good luck at finding a dentist and OB GYN.
Still haven't found a dentist I love either, but I DO love my Ob/GYN. I see Dr. Elaine Paul with Women Physicians in OB/GYN. I am currently pregnant with my 5th child, having some complications, and I think she has been magnificent! She delivered #4 for us. I found her by sheer luck when we had just moved to the Columbus area. She delivers at Riverside and her office is located there and also in Dublin. I have seen her both places and find them both great. Her staff is also typically very helpful and very kind. Good luck!
My dentist is Dr. Thompson at Grandview Dental. He's a little bit pricey, but I'd recommend him to anyone.
For OB-GYN, I go to Northwest Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. I've only been there once, as before then I was going down to Cincinnati to see my old doctor every year. I couldn't last year, so I switched up here and Dr. Leeman was wonderful.
Good luck!
