Definitely call the doctor. Also, follow the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast). This diet is low in fiber and stops you up. Also make sure you are using desitin or some other cream for rash. My toddler had a number of bouts with diarrhea and always ended up screaming in pain from diaper rash. Make sure your little one is staying hydrated with pedialyte and water. No apple juice either. Good luck!

A week is too long not to contact the doctor. Make sure you keep baby hydrated and call the doctor ASAP

It's time to call the doctor. Keep him hydrated and try to think what has changed in his diet or environment. If could be an allergic reaction or bug that's been going around, but if it's been going on for a week the doctor needs to know.

Do you have any idea what is causing it? Virus? Flu? Food allergies? Does he have other symptoms? Like fever? Vomiting? Rash? Lethargy? What color is his urine now?

A virus usually takes 5-7 days to run it course. So if he is able to keep fluids down or in, then it should pass soon.

Always feed children the BRAT diet when sick like this: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. I also include chicken noodle soup and broths and jellos in this diet too.
