L.A.
Yep. I have even typed out something and then just deleted the whole thing and walked away.
I was so scary, I did not want to frighten the "Normals".
Some days it seems like some of us give, I'll say, more abrupt answers, or sometimes even downright unfriendly.
I know I try not to,but hey if I am cranky it shows sometimes.
So if you are having a bad day, does it change how you asnwer someone? And do ever think about sending an PM apology or going back and editing your answer?
As ever, just curious (oh and procrastinating, but that is a different story :) ).
Thanks!

Yes, there are some times when I might be bit more direct than usual.
And there are some days when I think "I'd better stay off that damn forum because everything's p.o.ing me today!" and take my attitude elsewhere... :)
It is funny because when my kids annoy me I get annoyed easier. Like right now I am going to hurt my youngest!!!
I am waiting for the person to post they are perfect so I can attack!! Mwahahahhahahaha
I'm sure our "mood" has a lot to do with our answers.
I've never had to feel like I needed to apologize for any yet.... but ya never know.
I have to be in a certain mood to EVEN answer.... so I don't usually get on here until I'm at that point of rapture.
Definitely guilty. Not too often, but yes, I have.
It's a little too easy sometimes. =)
Yes, sometimes my mood effects my answers. Well, not my answers, but the tone of my answers.
If I am in a particularly growly mood I try not to even answer any questions for fear that I will offend. Sometimes I write a response, then just cancel it.
Sometimes, I just let myself go and be snarky. Hmmm, so far no one has called me out on it.
I guess you could say I do that sometimes. I've been known to delete my response and move on.
Today I totally po'd a MLM'r posting for ideas when she was actually recruiting. Of course, I got some hate mail and she reported me but GEES. It's very clear that she was looking to recruit for her travel agency vs asking a valid question.
She said her self " it's not too gimmicky" and in 2009 she was pushing diet pills. Whatever.....
So yes, sometimes I'm in total bit-ch mode for for the most part I try to be reasonable.
That kid with the cell phone invention is cracking me up tho!
Ut uh, no way, never, not me!
Wait, what was the question?
I tend to answer a question in the spirit in which it was asked.
:)
I don't think so. I would say my answers become more curt when I overwhelmingly feel the saying "can't fix stupid" applies. Although 99.9% of the time I choose not to respond to those.
Never.
I never even have mood swings. Call me Stable Mabel.
And if I did have a mood, which of course I don't, then I would never let my personal experiences, bias, or the fact that my 2 year old had his third meltdown before breakfast, or my stress level, or a recent disappointment, or whatever it is that affects "regular" people ever make me sound annoyed. Because that wouldn't be fair, or perfect, and that's me: ALWAYS fair, always perfect. ;)
In truth, Laurie A made me laugh out loud, because I do the same thing. Sometimes, I actually think "I ought to log off and take a nap....I know I could scare 'the Normals' off today".
i learned the hard way that if i don't have anything nice to say (and don't feel like getting blasted in pm) to keep my mouth shut on here. so i do, mostly. even if i disagree with someone i do it as nicely as possible.
oh hell yes.
Not just cranky days, but silly days, or sad days where i want to share my sob stories no matter what the questions was.
The sarcastic days are probably worse than the cranky days, because i don't mean to be cranky but could come off that way.
I just now deleted a very sarcastic response to the person i think is probably a troll asking about a computer in a 13 you boys bedroom,--
Yes, some days more than others. But if I'm feeling too bitchy, I don't post at all. And like Laurie, I've typed posts and deleted them.
yes and no but I have always limited what I say, can't spend too much time on here.
I noticed I'm more blunt when I'm cranky, and if I'm too cranky, I just don't answer. :)
Yeah, same here. What I often do, though, is read what I've written just before I hit "post," conclude that I'm in no shape to be giving anybody advice on anything, and get myself far away from here. A few times though, I've let my not-quite-Mary-Sunshine mood slip through. Apologies to all, for all those times!
No, if I am not feeling myself, I don't get on here.
No. I don't answer when I'm feeling "moody". I will sometimes save it and go back, if it's that important to me.
Sometimes my short answers come from being in a hurry or being annoyed with whatever I'm reading.
