have really great news to share? I DO!! My husband's MRI results came back and his brain tumor is 50% smaller than it was before the radiation (after 3 years and 2 surgeries!). So this means he will now only need yearly MRI's to monitor it unless he starts having side effects again. God is good!
AND we are done with diapers in our house :) our 3 y/o is now fully potty trained.
WOO - HOO!

Well I certainly can't top that!!! What wonderful news. And what a relief.
We do have a little good news: We are going home to Illinois for Thanksgiving and my Navy boy will be coming in from San Diego to spend the whole week.
That is truly WONDERFUL news! I guess you have much to be thankful for this holiday season. :) So so happy for you!
Wow, such GREAT news! And I agree, God IS good.
Well my oldest will be coming home from school Friday, then his longtime GF will also be here for Thanksgiving week, so I'll have a houseful of kids for awhile, and that makes me very happy!

My mother went to the eye dr was told she had macular degeneration. She went to the opthlomogist today and she doesn't have that. What she has is a blood vessel that burst. They had to do a laser treatment to stop the bleeding and she will be ok. She is very happy now and I am for her.

My great news:
I broke it off with the guy I was dating. I thought he was wonderful...and then out of the blue he turns into an insecure freak, demanding to know where I am and what I'm doing. I'm so relieved.
I did a whole lot of nothing over the weekend, but I did get my ceiling fan up. And I put foam insulation in some of the cracks in my old house. I was shocked to find about 5 square inches of spaces where cold air was blowing up into the house from the basement! It's much better now.
Not just good news, GREAT News!!! Yay for your family!!!!

Do you know the story of Joel Osteens mom? She was sent home to die in the 70's. She had terminal cancer and they said she had only a few weeks to live. Doti wrote down every single healing scripture she could and she found around 200 of them. From that day to this day, more than 35+ years later, she's read all 200 of those scriptures every single day. Obviously, it worked for her. She's still here and still well.
There is no way my Monday can be as happy as yours! I am so thrilled for you and your family. God IS good!!!!!!!

I doubt that anyone else's good news could compare with this! I am so happy for you! You are right that God is good. He always is though, even when we don't understand why things are happening in our lives. But, it is so good to be blessed in such a beautiful way!

That's fantastic news and although I don't know you personally, I'm happy for you. My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer on September 10th and has had one round of scans and blood work since surgery and is cancer free. He'll have to have scans and labs done every 2-3 months for at least the next year. God willing, this is it and there will be no more cancer! I hope it is the same for your family. You and your family are in my prayers.
My husband Surprise me by taking the day off from work.
He decided that waiting until I woke up next to him in a panic because he was still sound asleep at 630 was a bit much for me...And then when I tried to get him up..He went back to sleep after mumbling something...so at 645 I tried to rouse him again...He was like''I told you I took the day off, I had PTO''..Shocked I was happy and then woke up and started work for the day!!
Yesterday was his Birthday. We went to the Seahawks game...We watch them mash Potato(they didnt hold them down enough to consider it creamed:)) the Ravens...This gave him and excuse to take day off:)
I am also EXCITED that Occupy Federal Way is hovering off the ground. We had our First General Assembly Saturday. Six people showed!! We were all from Occupy Tacoma...But when word got out that there was one forming in Federal Way they jumped to support the Home town group:)
Our next General Assembly will be this Saturday!! I am the lead Facilitator right now...So I am a little stressed out but I have a great support system of people behind me:)
AND The Ulcer I have been nursing for over a week now, is starting to show signs of improvement:)
