The only place I know of that gives exceptional service is in RI, if you are not that far from there I would recommend Ruth's on Rolfe Sq in Cranston RI.
Best of luck,

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone out there owns or knows of a truly comfortable strapless bra. By this I mean, one that stays up all around --- mine fall down either in front or in back --- and I spend all day adjusting. I have too many items requiring a strapless bra to consider sewing in cups and I'm not comfortable w/ the idea of wearing those adhesive thingies.
Also, can someone recommend a store where people TRULY know how to fit bras and are knowledgable about the different types/brands? Nowadays so many people who work in lingerie depts don't know anything about the products or how to fit them. You ask a question and they get a glazed-over look and vaguely point you to a direction of the department and say, "Check what we have there." Zero expertise! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wish I could advise on the strapless bra issue - but I'm beginning to think that a truly comfortable doesn't exist! :( But I can highly recommend the store Intimacy at Copley Place - I just went there last week for a bra fitting. I went in wearing my usual 34D from Victoria's Secret and they set me up with a 32F!! I was a little shocked when I saw the F cup size, but it really shapes me well - I look like I've lost a few pounds! The woman helping me was very knowledgeable. They are on the expensive side (I ended up buying just 1 bra for $70), but I'll save up and go back for another one soon... ;) http://www.myintimacy.com/
p.s. - I found out after the fact that they were featured on Oprah...
I don't know the answer to the strapless question, but I highly recommend going to Nordstrom for a fitting. I have very large breasts and could never find the right bra and one trip there and I'm so happy. Pricey, of course, but worth it in my opinion. Good luck.

Not sure about the strapless bra brand but for a great place to find a bra with expertise that is extraordinary, try Lady Grace in Shrewsbury. They are well trained to fit for all types of bodies, have a great selection and awesome prices. They are in the White City Plaza where the Dunkin Donuts is located, kitty corner to Burger King. It is at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Quinsigamond Avenue.
Good luck
I cannot answer the strapless bra question as I have never found one that works for me, so I have stayed from them. I have just started going to a store called Lady Grace (Shrewsbury location). They have several stores in MA and you can look up the website ladygrace.com. They specialize in difficult to get sizes, and work with many surgeons at UMass. I have had surgery recently and they have helped me in purchasing the right bra for my stage of recovery. They focus more on the function than the aesthetics of the bra. They are not cheap, but they are comparable to in pricing to the high end department stores for like brands, having said that, they are infinitely more helpful and knowledgeable. Good luck.
