Hmm, a hole through your earlobe, I'd wait a couple of weeks myself if not longer. You wouldnt want to risk having the new hole meet up with the original one and become a BIG hole.
my daughters ear piercing went through higher in back than in front, i took it out immediately. how long should i wait to repierce it? it wasn't in for any length of time, so would a day or two be enough?

I would wait 6 months to try again, but you can call the place and see what they would suggest.
I'd probably wait longer than that. A hole is a hole, it will take more time to grow back than just a day or two. If I was in your situation I'd probably wait several months before trying again. But that's just my opinion, someone else may say something different.
How much higher? No one's piercing really goes straight through because of the shape of the ear. If it is just a little I would put the earring back in. If it is a lot you have to let it completely heal which can take up to six months.
If you don't let it heal you will have to pierce in a different spot and if you thought it tilting up looked strange not level in the front is even worse.
Let it heal completely. I think if you try to put another hole in, her ear could tear between the two holes.
You're going to have to give this ear a full 30 dats to close up and heal before re-piercing the ear again. if the hole doesn't close all the way, you'll be left with a larger hole than expected and then you'll really be stuck. Plus, the less you play around with it and let it heal over, the less scar tissue will form and you can get a good close on the hole. I've had my own ear re-pierced a few years ago for this same reason and I had to wait one month before getting the ear re-done. The good news is that the next holes they did were straight and all is well. Good Luck!
Oh gosh.
How old is she?
Was it done at a jewelry store?
If so, then can't you get a refund?????
Or did you do it yourself?
You need to let it heal. Awhile.
And keep her existing hole, clean. Or it will get infected.
Use Neosporin ointment etc.
Don't re-pierce it, or you will get 2 punctures in that same hole area.
Unless you completely relocate, the next hole.
And her existing hole, will heal... either with an obvious scar or not. And it may still be evident, even after it heals.
