My hubby went there a lot as a kid and young adult. When we go, we always walk counterclockwise to the back and work around counterclockwise. Most people start at the front and go clockwise around the park. It ends up being less crowded for you cause you avoid the big rush crowd at the front, and the crowd evens out by the time you get there. Fast pass the popular rides - over 45 minute waits (you can only do 1 at a time), and then hit the less popular rides while you wait. It's super efficient that way. If you go to Epcot, eat lunch at The Land - healthier and good variety.
