W.M.
My husband will stand there with me and hold my hair if necessary but he would never offer to do that. :o) He is sweet but gets grossed out easily. ha ha
Just a little bit ago - I had a coughing jag that caused me to vomit (sorry - if it's TMI) my loving husband comes into the bathroom with me to ensure I'm okay....
We have our dog, Grady, (a one year Boxer/Pit Mix) and we are dog sitting a Chihuahua, Rico, - well Chihuahua likes to "clean" our dogs teeth by licking the inside of his mouth/teeth - my loving husband asked if he could help me out by cleaning my teeth like Rico does for Grady!!
It almost made me hurl again!!! I just wanted to share so that you know there are still good men out there!!! :)
Does your hubby do anything like this for you?

Although that exact scenario has not happened I could see Troy trying to be a helper as well. I remember him being so concerned and helpful when I had my knee surgery. He asked which drugs would keep me knocked out for a few days so he could catch up on his sleep. :p
Love those men!
Yeah but did he do it?
Sorry Im not answering your actual question but I had to comment on the fact that I thought I was only one that vomits when I cough or have a dry throat. It started a few years back for me and it is the worst feeling that just pops up out of nowhere.
But your husband sounds very sweet and funny and gross LOL =)
Awwww! If anybody pukes my husband hauls it the other direction! But, he will get me pads and even if Ive allready booboo'd he will hold his nose and bring me toilet paper. He can eat the nastiest stuff but get a wiff of a poop diaper and he's gone!
LOL! I'm a single mom, but yes, I imagine most husbands are exactly like this. That's because I'm raising two really gross boys, he he!
HAHAHA GROSS!!
Not about throwing up, but if I'm in a crappy, dragon lady supreme mood, ripping my hair out and crying and yelling and overwhelmed, Rob will shoo the kids out of my face, then sometimes 'surprise' me by doing a ridiculous little dance or cheer (think about that 'flash mob' commercial)... while wearing tighty whiteys and church socks.
Cheers me up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
;)
Now that is true love!!! My husband helped me after my back surgery. He had to bath me and everything. That is a was humbling feeling but he was terrific.
Nothing to do with vomit because if he sees/smells it, he pukes, too. He will get me pads or tampons/Midol/ice cream/chips/Hershey's w/ almonds when the need arises. He was amazing both times I gave birth & right afterwards. He's always been most excellent about taking care of me when I need it (cooking, cleaning, kids, laundry, making me go take a nap, picking up prescriptions, etc.), which isn't very often, but when I need it, I REALLY need it!
