I love Jet Blue.. Seats are comfy, staff has always been really nice and TV in front of every seat... Spirit is my least favorite!
So just curious whats your favorite airline to fly and why? I really like Frontier because ive never had any problems with them, and i love that each seat has a tv!! And most importantly the price is usually the best i can find.....
sooo what and why is yours?

Southwest and American, pretty much the same reasons as everyone stated.
I fly to Europe a lot and like SAS and Lufthansa best. Great service.
Domestic I don't mind flying Alaskan and Continental.
Least favorite: United. I will spend extra $$$ to avoid flying United. I am even going as far as considering less optimal layovers. They are the WORST. The planes are outdated (no changing tables in the restrooms), overbooked every time I have been on one and their service SUCKS.
Southwest.....they don't charge for bags and can usually find the cheapest flights on Southwest. Don't like the fact they don't give assigned seats and even if you get your boarding pass at exactly 24 hours prior to the second, still usually can't get a lower numbered A for boarding. They also have the cheapest unaccompanied minor fees. But I have found on SW it is always delayed and never leaves on time, at least from here to Denver.
Frontier......don't like that they charge for bags but do like you get to pick your seats when booking online.
United....have never had any problems or delays when flying United, but they charge more for bags than Frontier and their flights are normally more expensive than SW and Frontier. United is my only other option for non-stop to Denver if SW and Frontier don't have the schedules I need.
American....don't like them, they have 'misplaced' our bags twice on two different occassions, we did finally get our bags back but days later.
my favorite airlines would be Easyjet and Cathay pacific. for the same reason: I've never had problems with them and the service is really good. When I need to read reviews about other airlines I go to Skytrax website or Airlikes.com. It helps me make up my mind between several airlines.
I like several for different reasons.
Frontier is good. Can't really complain. Don't love that you can't choose your seats until check-in. I found my last flight with them to be very disorganized.
Most Air Canada jets also have the in-seat entertainment.
I am partial to Continental...but they also have a major hub in Houston. The terminal is big, clean, and new. The service is consistent and prices are often the best for the places I go with a lot of non-stop options. I also have racked up a bunch of miles with them, so I enjoy early boarding and the upgrades and how fast my luggage comes out.
Southwest is a good option when the price is right...problem is that they have few direct flights (for the places I need to go) and the price isn't as low as it could be.
SAS is definitely my choice for international travel. Air France has good food, but Charles de Gaulle is a horrible place to make a connection.
I avoid US Airways and United, but American is good for certain destinations.
I like Southwest because they are friendly, go where I want to go for a reasonable price, and don't charge to check luggage. This is especially important for us when we are traveling with the kids, as we can't seem to pack as lightly as I'd like.
British Airways... hands down. I'll fly with them anywhere.
One of my favorite features is "economy plus". Business class style seating at economy prices. Of course, their business class is even better, and 1st in phenom. I can't afford business or first... but Plus is sooooooo worth it. On average, booking 60 days in advance... the bump in grade costs $50-100. Of course, using miles, the bump is free. But I save my miles for last minute tickets.
LEAST favorite = United. They skimp on maintenance and have for decades. Their planes are death traps. The only people I know in the airline industry who are willing to fly United are employees of United. Death traps not in that you'll fall out of the sky... but that you end up sitting on the tarmac while they fix the thing that was due to be fixed 6 flights ago... and then it's jury rigged to get them to the next destination to be fixed... but it doesn't happen until 3 flights LATER where it gets jury rigged AGAIN. Ugh. Silver lining is that their pilots are amazing. They have to be. They somehow keep those garbage cans in the air. But I won't get on a United Jet unless someone is shooting at me.
We are in the DFW area.
We call Southwest our company plane because it is so easy, convenient, good, reasonable. Most of the time we have non-stops (preferred) because we are to and from Houston about every week. We use Southwest mostly for business but I do have a companion pass and fly free anytime I am with hubby on same flights so that is a big perk. He has flown A LOT to get that perk.
If not Southwest, American is carrier of choice. The HQ is here at DFW and it is easy. We fly non-stop where ever we choose to go. We fly them A LOT as well. Right now, all 3 of us in our family are sitting on free tickets for our next trip with miles leftover. You do have to fine tune award travel but it can be done.
I deal directly with the Southwest and American website for the best deals. I've done that over 20 yrs now.
