For a great deal... Crane Lake Cabernet.. $3.99 Taste tested it (blind) against Rodney Strong and Silver Oak and Rodney sucked and Silver Oak was very close, within a point or two.
Hello all. I am a wine drinker (preferably red) and I am looking for recommendations. I hate spending the money on a bottle then not liking it and having to pour it down the drain. What is everyone's favorite wine?

For an inexpensive wine, I like Rex Goliath. The cab is better than the pinoit. I also like Estancia, La Crema, and Clos du Bois. Red Truck is a nice, inexpensive table wine. And believe it or not, that wine in the box from Target, is not half bad; I like the Shiraz/Cab mixture in the dark pink box. A good place to buy wine here is World Market. They have a lot of options that are low priced but you can sometimes find an even better price at the Kroger next door, if Kroger carries that particular bottle.
Hi L.,
I love Dancing Bull Shiraz, Vinters Blend, and Kendall Jackson, either the cab or the merlot. Both brands are less then 10.00 at Albertson's or World Market.
I also like the Barefoot wines most 5 to 8 dollars at Albertson's.
I also live in Sount Denton in Oakmont. I have 5 and 4 yr old at home. we have been here abotu a year. If you are interested in joining our book club/dinner club/ let me know. We meet about every 6 weeks and we always drink wine!
We try new ones at every gathering.
My email is ____@____.com I can send you the info. We ahe about 12 women who belong, most we all live in South Denton and have kids ffrom 3 to 12.

Welcome!

Hi L.,
My favorite wine is Patricia Green Whistling Ridge Pinot Noir. It's an Oregon wine and hard to come by unless you find her wines online.

I absolutely LOVE the Swanson Merlot. It's slightly harder to find as it isn't a grocery store wine, but most specialty stores and Central Market carry it. In fact Bushwackers there in Denton carries it at a great price. I drive all the way up there to get it cheap! They do tastings, and the owner is great at recommending wines too. He's a great guy. I also like Estancia, and Rutherford Hill. Black Opal and Bogle are ok for cheap wines too.
