It took about 3 weeks to feel really good again. The first week was the worst and then it just got better day by day. The more I moved the better I felt the next day.

Lets just say when I had mine, I had to be near a restroom for years!

fully, about a month. I had mine out April 11th. The first week, I felt like my insides where moving around every time I sat up or was standing for too long. My ribs hurt and the gas still inside my belly and surrounding areas hurt badly. That went away at about a week and a half. My ''Wounds'' still hurt occasionally.

If you have people around you willing to help, take it. I had help the week before and the week of...After that I was flying solo. I wish I had an extra week of help:) So, do not hesitate to have people doing stuff for you.

I recovered quickly and was good to go a couple of days later. No pain or abnormal issues at all. It was a surprisingly easy recovery!

It really took me about 2 weeks to feel normal, but then again I was just 3 weeks post partum (c-section as well) when I had my surgery. I think getting all the gas out is what took so long. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I was back at 100% in a week. But I was back up to 85% really quickly, maybe 2 days.

I agree with Sheri! bathroom problems will be a regular part of your day. It helps with the food your are putting in your mouth though, some things are worse than others. look into it,otherwise my recovery was nice.

Mine did not go so well, so it took me a good 2 weeks to feel normal again.

I had mine out on a Thursday (back in November) and was back at work on Monday. I saw still sore, but able to work. They tell you it takes 6 weeks for full recovery, which is about right.

I had mine out on Monday and was back at work on Wednesday. I called someone in to work for me around noon and then went home and rested. I did go in to work on Thursday and made it through and was fine. So I was back at work full time at about 72 hours.

Before I had mine out I could not drink Orange juice, I burped it up days later. I could not eat many spicy things either. After getting it out I can drink all the OJ I want and eat just about anything. It was the best thing ever. I don't even miss that 22mm gall stone.
