Hair Clogging the Tub

Wise Mamas please give me advice. I have three daughters and they all share a bathroom. Needless to say they have lots of hair. It seems they plug the tub up every month. Any solutions out there ? I don't want to have to use drain-o every few weeks. The metal stopper attached to our tub is too large for those small plastic net hair stoppers that you can get for $3.00 TIA

What can I do next?

When they condition their hair have them brush it through with the vent brush. (one that has spaced plastic bristles) You will be surprised at how much the brush catches. I have been been doing this for years and it works well.

Also - have them brush their hair before they get in the shower- should help cut down on hair lost in the shower

My hair is starting to fall out a lot more right now. You just have to ask them to be responsible and catch the hair as it falls. I do and ball it up so it's easier to grasp then throw it in the trash when I get out of the shower. Sounds gross now that I write it out, but we haven't had much a a clogged drain problem.

I had the same problem, I went and bought a kitchen sink stopper, it is Oneida brand. It is rubber and can be inverted and it fits right over the drain. I found it at Albertson's but I think I saw one at Walmart too.
The other thing I do is while I am washing my hair or my kids hair I try to collect whatever gets on my hands and stick it to the shower wall. Then when the shower is done, just gather it up and throw it away. It looks really gross, but it works really well:)
Good luck
