R.,
My son, at age 4 months, was given a prognosis of being blind, immobile and mentally retarded. Within a few days we began an alternative neurodevelopmental program. He is 9 now and is very mobile, reads several years ahead of his peers and is doing beautifully. It has made such a difference for ALL my children, that I got certified and now teach parents the information that revolutionized our lives---and more that has been learned since we began 9 years ago.
You can read my story and a little about what I do now at www.parentswithpurpose.com. You can call me at ###-###-####. I'd be glad to answer any questions.
Don't let ANYONE tell you that he can't be helped. Just thank them for admitting they don't know how to help and go find someone who can.
Hang in there, Mom. There are trying days ahead, but after the trial cometh great blessings!
