Have any of you tried the Eggie? It is on of those "As seen on TV" products.
I'd love to have one if they work well.
Has it work well for you?
Thank you!

What can I do next?

I just posted about the "As Seen on TV" and just bought these. Out of the 6 of them, one popped all the way open while cooking and the egg came out in the water. 4 of the others popped open, but the eggs stayed in it and still cooked. They were odd shaped. There was 24 small pieces to clean. It said dishwasher safe, but I didn't trust that since the pieces were too small. I decided as much as a pain it was to peel hard boiled eggs, its was WAY easier than using the Eggies. I took them back over the weekend. Good luck.

Edited to add: It does make "boiled eggs". Unlike someone commented that they only make "poached eggs". That isn't true, in fact the picture on the front of the box is of deviled eggs, which is made from hard boiled eggs. =)

Do a search for "as seen on tv", as there have been similar posts.

My friend has them. They do work. However, if you're looking to make deviled eggs, you cannot cut the egg lengthwise, only in half. It's very time consuming, to coat the containers with oil and then wash them all. Also, you need a place in your kitchen to store the gadget.

IMO don't waste your money.

HINT - After you hard boil eggs, rince in cold water and then place in a bowl of ice water for at least 15 minutes. It makes it easier to peel

A neighbor gave me some as she over ordered them....OMG, when I saw all the pieces that have to be screwed together and tightened and washed I thought, what time intensive, non-labor saving devices will the info-mercials think of next? I immediately gave them away and will stick with the old-fashioned way.

Ditto Momof2girls...don't waste your precious time.

Yes, time consuming and you have to tighten them SUPER tight (which is then hard to untighten especially when hot)...and have to spray P. in them. Pain....

however, for someone like me that loves just egg whites...I can make whole egg whites (with the egg whites you buy in carton) and they taste good.

Eggie does not make 'boiled eggs' it makes poached eggs. If you have an egg poacher it will do the same thing.
If you know in advance that you will need hard boiled eggs for something, buy your eggs in advance and cook them when you need them. Older eggs peel much easier than fresh eggs.

MIL bought me a set. Complete waste of time and money, and the eggs looked funny.
