Help Me Not Flash My Co-workers! Lol

I could not think of another title, so I apologize if it sounded funny or is misleading. =)
Here's my problem...
Ok, I have a large chest, and I have found that unless I wear a high necked shirt (which I hate), or a regular t-shirt (which isn't that dressy), when I bend over you can generally see my girls (or a lot of cleavage). All my professional dress clothes, for work, are swoop neck or cowl neck, or small v-neck (I rarely buy those though). It's hard to find the right type of swoop neck that won't show anything. All the camisoles I have tried don't really help (they don't cover the cleavage), so I was wondering if any of you had suggestions? I haven't tried that "as seen on tv" product where it's like a piece of lace that snaps to your bra straps and goes across, but I am tempted. Has anyone tried it, does it work well? Do any of you wonderful ladies have any other quick fixes or tips or have you found something that works for you in this situation?
At home around friends and family I don't care, but at work I feel uncomfortable. I still want to look professional, but I just want to feel covered up and like I am not flashing everyone I work with! Thanks in advance! =)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

The tight tanks are what I wear, but they don't come up high enough to cover the cleavage, unless I find the ones that are swoop neck themselves then I feel a little more covered. I guess I was just really blessed in that department, lol. I have never thought of the double sided clothing tape, that would work for some of my tops actually. I can't afford new bras right now, but when I have it in the budget I will definately check out the ones you guys suggested. I didn't know Sally's had those as seen on TV things, at this point I will have to try it, the tape and the tanks I have until I can budget for bras! I am starting a new job at a State Prison on Monday and I really want to look put together, but comfy. Thanks for the help ladies!
ETA:..Thank you all so much for letting me know I am not alone. I mean I knew I couldn't be but had no clue how other ladies did it. It's so funny to those who mentioned the "hand block" technique, that is what I do right now, but I kept wondering if people notice that I do it, lol. Well you guys all rock! Now I feel a tad bit more prepared. =)

Soma has a bra that does exactly what you're thinking of. I tried one on the last time I was in the store, and it was cute! They have them in a bunch of colors. Here's the link:

I was at Sally's Beauty Supply last week and they carry those as seen on TV thingies. I think they would work, worth a shot I'd say.

Google search "tube bra".
MANY women, including me... use this under my low cut clothing.
And it is cute. Get it in all colors. It then looks like, you 'layered' your blouse or top, with an insert.
Much more attractive than a camisole.
And it looks like a part, of the outfit.
This is the thing now.

My girls hang out too. I use the tube bras.
I got it from E-bay.
Or just look online to see where they have them.
It is totally comfy.

Some is a 'cup'... type. And some styles are just a bandeau. So that it can fit over any boob size. And you can use it over your bra. So that it looks like a contrasting complimentary colored clothing piece, to your outfit.

I think what you are talking about are what I saw on TV. Those ones they sell that are multicolored "dickies" that clip onto your bra on the sides. That way you don't have to wear a shirt or a shell under your dress or shirt, but your cleavage is covered.

I saw the same thing they sell on TV in Walgreens. Try looking in the drug stores and I'll bet you'll find it.

I bought them, but my "girls" are not as big as yours and the dickies came up too high for my tastes, so I gave them to my mom, who is large chested (she's a size E and I'm a size C.)

Does that help?

I wear the cami that is from JCPenney that comes higher than your cleavage. It is by Worthington. it also hugs you and tucks you in up top and at your belly. It sits right above your cleavage so I wear them under things that are a bit loose or low. I also tend to wear blouses or shirts that don't really dip. And don't bend over. ;o)

I buy camisoles at JCPenney made by Jockey. They are the best I have ever seen. They do come up higher, and they stay put. They don't show anything when you bend over. And, they are made of a wonderful material that lays under your blouses so nicely. They have a tiny bit of lace at the top, nice but not too frilly. I typically don't like the lacy look in camisoles, but I do like these.

What about instead of a loose fitting camisole you go with a tight fitting tank top? They sell them everywhere...my favorites are from Target, they are stretchy and come up high enough to cover the girls.

This may not be a solution for every day, but have you tried the double-stick tape made to use between your clothes & your skin? My teenage daughters call it "boob tape", as in "keeps every body from seeing your boobs" tape. It help keeps clothes in place so they don't reveal too much when you turn or bend.

Hi J.,

I've used those little "as seen on tv" false camis -- they work great! There are 3 snaps on each side, so you can adust the width of the attachment. They feel a little odd at first, but after a minute, I don't even notice them.

I found mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $10 for a set of 3 (white, tan, and deep navy, which I thought was black). Go for it! If you get them at BB&B and ;you don't like them, they'll take them back, no problem.

Well I don't have much to show for in the cleavage department, but even I am sensitive to this because I work with 7th and 8th graders. My husband was traumatized once when he got a look down his 5th grade teacher's shirt. He never let's me forget it and comments anytime I am not wearing a turtleneck.
I agree, obviously I don't want to flash my students. Any time I even remotely bend over I just put my hand up to my cleavage to hold my shirt flat and block any opening there could possibly be. It is unconscious now. But I never do it at home, and hubs always catches me bending over and scolds me- "how many students did you flash today with that shirt!" he doesn't believe me that i never bend over in front of students and always block the opening. Honestly it is like swearing, you know how there is that on/off switch (I do it around friends, but never at work and never in front of the kids). That's how it is with my hand block protective move around work.

Ha! I worry about this, too sometimes! I have found certain brands of shirts that fit me better than others--Old Navy & Gap are 2 of my favorites (I shop the clearance racks). I guess it depends on how "big" is big... I'm between a DD and DDD and finally figured out last summer that they key is GOOD BRAS (I finally did the proper fitting at Cacique--in the Lane Bryant store--when they had there "buy 2, get 2 free" sale)! I hate wearing "undershirts," so i really just try to find tops that fit me right. I have used double-sided tape between the buttons when I wear button-up blouses (rarely). I work in a place where a lab coat is a part of my "uniform" so it's not such a worry any more. Good luck!

I'm not that large, but I'm not comfortable with a lot of necklines. I bought a "boob tube" recommended on The View, but it wasn't large enough for me. I'm only a C cup, with no real cleavage, so if you're large than that, you may have trouble finding an insert or tube that's big enough to cover your cleavage. I've used the double-sided tape with success, and one of the other things I've done is to wear a tank top backwards. The backs are usually higher than the fronts. This works better if it has a tag you can cut out than the printed care information, which sometimes shows through the fabric. You might also talk to a seamstress about sowing in a piece of lace or fabric into your favorite tops.

My experience has been it's really difficult to find something to wear underneath that goes high enough.

I used to have that problem when pregnant with my daughter-now the only person I flash is my hubby lol. Wal-mart sells these short tops that are made for the purpose of wearing under clothing. They are very low turtlenecks and come to just under my bra. they have them in 6 or 8 different colors. I know you don't like high necked shirts but you might have to start wearing them to remain professional.
Anyways they sell the tops neaar the scarves and purses-only 4 or 5 dollars too!

the camisoles need to be knit-so they hug the skin. not the lacy silky type.

I place one hand on my blouse/chest so the top does not drop if I need to bend over. There are also shirts called "half tees" that are different kinds of materials but cut like a t shirt. But they only go down just below your breasts so you dont have a million layers at your waist band.
