I just saw Dr. Douglas Brooks at College Park. He is an MD, but he's very good (I think he specializes) with hormones. I would highly recommend him and he would probably be a little cheaper and covered under your insurance since he's an MD. He can be a little hard to get into because he is so popular. Dr. Huseman with Children's Mercy is seeing my daughter currently, and we have been happy with her and the nurses. She explains everything very well and takes time to answer all of my questions. I think I may be misspelling her name, and her first name has slipped my mind, but you can look her up on Children's Mercy's website. Good luck!

My endocrinologist is Dr. Sanjeev Menon. I don't know how up to date he is on human growth hormones, but I think he is great. His practice is at Menorah Hospital building 2 with the Kansas City Internal Medicine Group.

I have 3 names for you. The first 2 were given to me by our daughter's pediatrician (he has been around for awhile, so he knows who is good). The next is one that my doctor referred me to for my thyroid issues...I have my first apptmt this week.
