How do you rate something as "helpful"? I don't see anything to click on. Maybe it's because I'm a new member …?

What can I do next?

You can show approval or agreement by using 'Send Flowers'.
That's pretty much it.

You could right click on that person's name and open their page in a new tab. Then send them a message but a lot of us don't bother checking our messages so they'd see it but it might not be right away.

Welcome to mamapedia!!

When you look at the bottom of anyone's responses - you will see

Save This Send a Flower Report This Share

If you click on "save" - it will hold or save this post in your in-box.

If you click on "send a flower" - you will let the person who took the time out to respond to that you appreciate their time and what they said.

if you click on report - an icon will come and you will need to state why you are reporting the item. For example - we get a rash of trolls who post links to advertising or their own business - it's against the rules - so it gets reported as advertising...Mamapedia NEVER used to allow swearing - now? It seems that it's okay.

If you click on "share" and you have a facebook account - it will show up in your facebook feed.

you can ADD to your posts/questions by clicking on your post and clicking the "so what happened" (aka SWH) and give more information. **MY** preference is that if you ADD something to your as you read responses and people aren't getting what you are trying to say - give the information they need to help you.

Hope that helps!

When something posted or replied is truly helpful I send a flower, send a personal message and mention the person's name and what she said in my response.
