It's going to be in the low 90s. With humidity in the high 80s BLEH! Makes me miss my Phoenix dry heat! Yep I would trade this humidity for the 115 degree dry heat any day!
Today its going to get up to 93. I have a friend who lives about 30 miles north of here and its going to get up to 97 by her. Yikes!
The sad thing is Houston isn't exactly a windy city so the heat just hoovers over you like you're in an oven with a large elephant sitting on you holding an XL bag of coals.

Central Florida and the temps will be in the 90's with chance of thunder storms in the afternoon. This is typical tropical weather.
I do notice that at times it is cooler here in the summer then where I lived in NJ and PA, they get high temps too and the same humidity, theirs just doesn't last as long.
Today the high is 79, with a greater than 50% chance of storms this afternoon. As long as there are no tornado warnings, I love storms!
It isn't supposed to get abotu 87 throguh the weekend- LOVE!!
Next week the highs are in the 90's...good thing it's swimming lessons week for the kids!
Well, being a Texan too, I feel your pain! Summers in Dallas are hotter than hell, well, almost :-) But it's a tradeoff to live in this great state :-)
I'm in Houston, too, and it truly is palpable in a way that cannot be understood by one who hasn't experienced it. I mean, seriously, how many of you have been able to reach out and grab a handful of hot, humid, steaming air? You want to swat it away like a cloud of smoke, but it's way bigger and denser than that, and it just sits its lazy heavy butt right there and will NOT budge. You try to walk around it, and it looms like your fat shadow/The Blob.
Here in California, the weather has been wonderful (60's at night and 80's during the day), but the politics are horrible. Welfare addicts and illegal aliens abound and something for nothing politicians try and buy your vote with giveaway programs. The politicians don't control the border because they want the illegal alien vote. (I know they aren't supposed to vote, but people aren't supposed to steal either.) That causes the working population that have moveable jobs to move.
But the weather is wonderful . . . 39% and 63 degrees 6:00 am Tuesday morning.
My garden is doing great. Good luck to you and yours.
Follow Houstonian here. Yep, summer has arrived and it sucks! Humid, hot and gross. Oh don't forget the mosquitos. Yeah, that's our state bird!
Hot and humid with possible showers which will make it MORE humid. Yay!
High of 75 today with a chance of thunderstorms.
(Was this a political question?
I'll bet someone is a big fan of our president, since illegal crossing apprehensions are down 80% from the peak in 2009, right? Check your facts, Dad!)
Well it's June in southern Florida. It's FREAKING HOT!!! But even more than that it's extremely humid.
I always wish we could ship some of our humidity out west where they need the water.
Sigh.
A perfect 70ish degress, sunny and clear.
Quit your Cali bashing 8kids, must you turn everything into a political rant? Border crossings are at their lowest in decades. Yeah, that's right, last time I went to my polling place I had beat my way past droves of illegal immigrants trying to vote. More likely is the fact that most of the food we've both consumed in the last month came from the hands of an immigrant or off a plate washed by one.
We'll be in the 70's and 80's this week. A little cooler than normal. I'm surprised that 93 and 97 are considered hot in Houston. That's hot for us, but we spend half the year freezing.
It's 69 degrees right now and about 25% humidity. We are supposed to get up to 78 degrees today.
It can't decide what it's going to be lately...hot, warm. cold...so I just deal!! day - by day!
I grew up in Houston - I really dislike that place. It's so humid and hot you feel like a wet noodle. Now I live someplace dry and the heat is so much more bearable. It gets to 85 here on most hot days but sometimes to 90...so it's not as hot as there. I wish my mom would move bc there is absolutely nothing about Houston that tempts my family to visit! Concrete, shopping, traffic...it's all consumerism and freeways there! Sorry for my rant :) Actually, I'm sure there are nice things there too...I just never see them when I visit.
It is supposed to be around 82 all week. We have been colder than normal and I am looking forward to shorts weather! Unfortunately the mosquitos came out this week.
Were on the cooler side this week. High of 61 today and mid to low 70s the rest of the week. Last week we were in the mid 80s but a storm rolled in and it cooled off drastically. Saving money on the air conditioning bill is nice though.
It's only going to be 104 degrees today. I say only because last week, it was 112. Our upstairs AC unit decided to act up during that time, so that made it extra special.
The predictions for July 1 is 114 degrees. Thank goodness we'll be in California!
92-96 here. We don't have the humidity that you get in Houston, but we definitely get the sun! :)
Not nearly hot enough for me yet. Only in the 80's. I want 90's. I live for heat.
84'F for the high today, 66'F for the low. 90's is pretty average in the summer here, but we've had bipolar weather lately.
Not hot enough for me. Rain again this afternoon 75, I want hot. Winter was so cold!
We haven't officially hit 100 yet but it's been right there.
We have so many days of storms coming in and then temps spike up. It's odd weather this year for sure. I'd rather have the rain and cooler temps for sure but certainly no more tornadoes.
"Yikes" is 97? lol I live in hell, so 97 will get me long sleeves because that is COLD! We will be 108 EVERY.DAY this week! which is above normal for this time of the year. Which also means when we do hit the hottest part of summer, it will likely be hovering around 110-115 consistantly. YIKES TO THAT! I hate it. Oh well.
Over here in El Paso it's been over 100 for the last week (and there aren't many real trees). Can't WAIT to move.
Today is my kind of weather - partly sunny, between 69-71', depending upon which town I've been in today.
I start to melt above 85.
not hot enough.
we had 90 degree days in february. a few more in the middle of may. i pinched and harried my husband into getting the pool open, and it promptly dived down into the 70s and hasn't nudged much above them since.
i'm a summer girl. bring on my heat!!!!

Yesterday was gorgeous at about 73, blue skies with a few clouds.
Today it's supposed to be more of the same.
Tomorrow, I believe it's supposed to rain.
I live just north of Seattle.

It's low to mid 80s during the day and getting into the high 50s at night right now according to the weather. In our backyard specifically it's a little warmer than that during the day and a little colder than that though. It's pretty nice really. I know it's just the calm before the storm though, we're not far from 115s during the day. Enjoying this weather right now!
110 for the next week at least. Stuck in the house...that whole it is a dry heat think is void after105! It is like living in an oven.
It's in the mid sixties. I'm not at all happy with it and would much rather live in at least 80+ degrees year round. Yes, I have lived where it was always that hot. Sadly, that will never happen here in WA. It sucks to have access to a pool and yet not have it hot enough to be able to use it most of the year. I'm hoping the rain doesn't come as predicted.
It's been cold here! Today it will be 19 degrees Celsius. It's been getting down to 2 degrees Celsius at night. I'm in the Southern Hemisphere.
This past weekend was 80 degrees, and hot (for us, the "rainy state") but the humidity gets up there sometimes. It's supposed to rain at some point today and for a few days but the temp is about 65 with a nice breeze.
Yesterday was low 80's, today rainy and 70, tomorrow rainy and mid 50's!
Yesterday was 88 degrees. Today is 59. This coming weekend is supposed to be 89 and 93, hot and humid both days. But it is only Tuesday so that could, or should I say will, change.
