S.B.
It was 84 here yesterday. Rainy (yay!) and about 80. Hard to get into the holiday spirit when you are wearing shorts, t-shirt and flip flops.
Um, where is my boat?? I am pretty sure we are going to need one.
What is the weather like outside your window??
It is raining here. So much so that 50% of my neighborhood and the surrounding area's are covered in deep standing water.
I know WHY...We have had a pretty DRY Fall and the leaves are covering the drains.
I am not sad to see the rain but the standing water leaves much to be desired:)
I am hoping for SNOW! BRING ON THE SNOW!!
How goes it for you?
Melanie G.-did you have the wind gusts like crazy?I have heard from a few places they could feel their houses sway with it. YIKES!
Ephie.....We will be taking the boat down on Monday:)
So if we need a place to dock I will give you a holla:)
I know every year we go through the same thing...rain, wind, snow, rain, clouds, cold, freezing rain...and every year I always curse it! I should be elsewhere!
did I mention I want snow:) Go big or go home...I have had it with this rain stuff;p

Rainy outside here too outside DC, but mostly fog and mist. Pretty mild, 50s I think. We've had a pretty warm fall for us.
Rain, rain, rain! Lol, same as you Libby. They say that we are supposed to get a really big wind and rain storm this week. The biggest and worst of the season! So be prepared! Get out the flashlights and warm blankets.
We really want some snow too! Soon I hope!
It is just pouring out right now, and we have to go out :( Sad, but we need food, so to the grocery store we go!
Stay warm and dry girl!
We've had a pretty nice Fall for living in Ohio. No snow yet. The last 2 days have been raining but still not complaining..lol! I'm not ready for snow yet because I know once it starts it doesn't stop until March.
It has been rainy steadily all day. Dank and dreary. A good day for tea.
It is a beautiful morning outside. We do have snow on the ground and its a little chilly, but the sun is shining the birds are chirping and my little dog is having so much fun chasing the neighborhood squirrel! haha. Good luck with your water! hope it gets better for you!
Awesome! 75, sunny, gentle breeze, just a couple little white wisps of half clouds. :)
Same rain cloud, different street. If you get a boat, will you come visit us?
;-)
My kids are also hoping for snow. I am not. Puget Sound snow drives me nuts. You know, the wet stuff that melts down during the day and then, after sun set, freezes into a giant sheet of ice (which I inevitably slip and fall on every four minutes, HA HA HA). Also, our power goes out almost every time it snows or gets windy. We had a black out for 36 hrs last weekend because of the little snow storm we got. It's fine, we can heat our house and cook on our wood stove and we have a few lanterns, but it's a pain in the rumpus.
I live in the wrong climate. It's just the truth. Every winter I'm like, "huh, I feel so lethargic and down. I just never want to go outside..wonder why," and then when it starts to get warm, I feel like a giant weight has lifted off my chest.
I'm going to change my screen name to Eeyore. Ha ha ha.
I have been hoping for snow...yesterday we had lots of fog (felt like I was back in England!!) and drizzle.
Today it's TRYING to rain...we have our bouts of drizzle and rain...
getting colder....
We had 2 days of snow already and now it's blowing rain. The wind has blown most of the leaves off our trees.... wish it would blow them out of our yard.
65 sun shining and no rain or wind!
We are in the low 60s and it rained all night. No sun to be had anywhere and I love it!!! Its extremely hot here in the great state of Texas and I love these whole 3 months of fall/winter weather I enjoy it! I think its going ti be in the middle 70s by the weekend though with bright sunshine. Booooo on that!
Gorgeous! 75 degrees and the sun is shining! We are heading out the door in a few minutes to go hiking. This is the time of year I love living in Florida the most! :)
It rained all night and we had high winds. Our buses/schools out in our area had a 2 hour late start b/c of the rain then the freezing temps made for some dangerous roads.
Very light snow falling due to partially cloudy. Also it's a balmy 25 degrees at the moment not including windchill.
It's pouring and pouring and pouring some more outside. I don't expect it to stop but boy am I happy the kids have the next three days off. Rain is part of living in the PNW but it's as if someone turned the faucet on outside.
Partly cloudy high 78 degrees! I love this weather <3
