Anyone have a great way to get the manufacturer's sticker off my wood furniture? They put it on the top of the TV stand, which is really annoying! I have tried many things, with no luck!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for the responses! I tried peanut butter, but it didn't work. So I bought some Goo Gone and it worked great! A sticker that's been stuck to the wood for over 3 years and it came right off. Thanks, everyone!

Try the non-toxic suggestions first. But if it doesn't work, use "Goof Off."

I have some rental property. This stuff works every time. You can buy it at any hardware store.

I always use goo gone on stickers. My girls used to like to put stickers all over their furniture and thats the only thing that ever worked! If you cant get it off I would call the manufacturer and complain!

I use Goo Gone for EVERYTHING! It is made of orange oil and does not damage your furniture, glassware, dishes, shoes, your skin, you name it!

"Goo Gone." Great product. Then use a little soap to get the Goo Gone off.

Take a hair dryer to it. The glue will loosen, then you wipe clean. Good Luck!

goo gone works... but sometimes take the color out of the wood.. try steam.. like from a tea kettle.. or use a hot rag.. and kind of melt it off.. good luck

Honestly, don't laugh...you use a paper towel and dab some lighter fluid on it. rub it over what's remaining of the sticker and in a few seconds...gone. Follow up with somd Dawn/H2o combo to get the lighter-icky chemicals outta there. Works every time! (and doesn't damage the wood)

WD-40 works wonders. It takes stickers off of windows, so I am sure you could apply it to this situation as well.

Lemon or eucalyptus essential oils work great. Will be fine for most woods too. Always test first. See us at youngliving.org/407018.

Don't you hate that? I never understood why they do that. Anyway, I have used Goo Gone and it works pretty good. They sell it at Home Depot & Target
