Yep, they are here..........The thing I have been dreading, since 1-20-2009..............I never thought it would be this awful..Honestly...

Does anyone else feel a sense of dread, with this whole thing?

I may hold onto it as long as I can. I dont know how I want to go yet. I have my Local stuff figured out for the most part..

I know there are SO many that know exactly how they will vote. It is not that clear to me(I know who I wont vote for, that does not make it any easier).

I have a pit in the middle of my stomach.

What does it feel like to be totally sure?? If you have that feeling with who you are voting for.....I am asking you one more time to sell it.

Did anyone happen to catch the Google Plus Debate with the other Presidential Candidates? My computer wont load it right now....So, I am sitting here contemplating the whole thing instead..

Watcha Gonna do when the Ballot comes to you...Dont tell me specifics......But are you nervous?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

@Jo.......Washington is Mail in only. They may still ''go to the Polls'' east of the Mountains, I am not sure...

@OneandDone.....Hubby and I are struggling really bad right now. With the heart strings of what we think is right I guess. Go safe or go sound.....

1. I am glad I am not the only one so torn.
2. I know a vote for the Third Party is Pretty Pointless and looks like throwing a Vote away. Cory and I even talked about the fact if we Vote Differently, that pretty much cancels each other's vote out, so we have to go the same on this one(at least as we see and feel it now).
3. When I go back and check the list of things Obama promised he would do or try and do, it is a very hard to vote him again knowing he was not able to produce....regardless of the Congress he had working under him. It was blue for sometime before swinging. Do I risk hoping he comes back swinging?

-I didnt want to get into a debate on what the issues are. I am a Pro-life/ Pro-choice as long as it is not something that a women is using as a means of birth Control. I think anyone who does seek out and have one, go through mandatory Counseling before/afterwards. I found myself terrified and pregnant at 19. We extremely religious parents, I could not turn to. I was not married. They hated my BF at the time(now my husband). I found myself making this as the hardest decision of my life still to date. I HAD TO MAKE MY PEACE WITH GOD. I have. I still would not take someones right to choice away from them, as long as like I said, it was not a form of constant birth control. I.e. I spoke with someone who has had more then four.......She honestly had no soul around the issue.

I dont know why in 2012 we are still battling over Women's Rights to deciding what is best for their bodies.

I dont care who ''Started'' the War on Women......Be it Obama or not. I think what Obama was seeking after with doing this is making sure that everyone has equal rights in obtaining the medicines they need. BC is medicine.

You can not be PRO LIFE and then Anti BC. Because they pretty much cancel each other out...Because then you get into being Anti-Social Welfare. Which then leaves those kids exposed to some pretty nasty things. Like being stuck with a parent who did not want them. Who they resent. Do you see where I am going with this.

I think those are some of the things from the right I am battling with so much. Because non of that makes any sense to me.

Bringing up my Neighbors is a good point though on why the Social Welfare system does not work. BUT we have to have people there to be able to get the fraud ironed out.

I have called the Police, told them their are people with warrants, they are using my address to get stuff...like phones and stuff. I bring up the warrants, only because they are both on State assistance for everything...From medical, to getting their rent paid and everything in between. When I finally called the Police about all of this stuff......I asked how they were not able to track down someone with a warrant who is receiving EVERY state benefit they could muster.........He responded with,''They dont have the man power to look into every lead for us''.

I have been contemplating getting gun from my hubbies dad because of them, that house that is always rented out to these types of people and for peace of mind knowing if she ever comes near me I am safe(I have had to get a protection order, so she can not set foot on my sisters property)

Now with all of this laid out...which I was not going to do

Hi! May I suggest something completely unpolitical?
The first week of the Olympics when Mitt Romney's wife was competing I saw an interview. The interviewer asked him about his wife's competition that day. His reply, "Oh, was that today?". He then went on to say he didn't know.
There is something about his not knowing how his wife had done at the Olympics that has stuck with me. He was either trying to downplay the Olympic connection or he really didn't know it was the day of the competition.
If it's the former than he's a liar. If it's the latter he's a thoughtless bum.
I really feel strongly about this. I don't care that it was her horse. Ann Romney is passionate about her equestrian events and claims it has saved her from the ravages of MS. Does any husband ever have any excuse to not know when his wife is competing in any event, never mind the Olympics? Or does she just not matter? And if she doesn't matter I guess we won't matter either.

I am certain of who I am voting for, but I will never be happy that he's my only true option, without wasting my vote on a 3rd party candidate.

I've been sitting here watching the PBS Frontline program: "The Choice, 2012," which chronicles the rise of both candidates. While there are things about both candidates that I can admire (their personal stories, although very different, are both good and inspirational stories), it just makes me sick to my stomach that these 2 are the "best" that we have to offer. :-(

ETA: I don't agree that birth control pills are medicine, unless they are used to regulate an irregular or otherwise problematic cycle. A properly functioning reproductive system is not a disease to be treated.

1)First look at your neighbors, the welfare recipient of $5,000 per month, defrauding the government and teaching their own children to do the same. And realize what Party favors letting people like them get away with fraud.

2)Remember what Biden recently said "the middle class has been buried the last 4 years......I guess HOPE was not a plan the first 4 years and there is no plan for the next 4 years

3) Romney is very charitable with his own money, Unlike Obama or Biden. Why doesn't Obama talk about his money in China Companies or overseas accounts?

4) Everyone blames Bush for this recession. If you do your research please look into Bill Clinton CRA. In 1999 he lifted the Commercial & Investment banking regulations which is the reason for this financial crisis & great recession due to the housing collapse.

5) Come one, it's a scare tactic about forcing a women to give birth to "EVERY unplanned pregnancy....." , lets be fair and honest people

6) He's had 2 yrs of a Democratic House & Senate, and didn't accomplish squat because not even his own party would sign on. How can he complain when he had 2 ENTIRE YEARS.

It's an easy choice for me. Good luck

And you don't go vote like the rest of us, in a booth, with the dangling chads?

Guess I am saying no ballot comes to me, I go to it.

Not nervous at all. I have done all of my research, pulled data from the bls.gov, bea.gov like anyone who wants the truth without the media spin. Grabbed a bit from find law. Local is easy I mean it is my backyard. If I don't know what my community is doing I would be pretty pathetic.

About the hardest thing I have to do is vote for Akin. The man is an idiot, but he is not a Democrat and we need that balance of power. I think it is so funny, war on women, they are attacking our right to choice. Yeah right, the Republicans have nominated almost twice as many Surpemes as the Dems since Roe v Wade, and yet the law still stands! Why is that? Oh yeah, because by law it must but hey, all the people need their shiny things to distract them from the economy.

I AM nervous. I get that"pit" feeling in my stomach every time I think of Obama winning and how it will affect my family and our country. An Obama who is unrestrained by fear of re-election is a dangerous thing IMO. He said himself in a discussion that he had where he was unaware that he was being taped. He urged the Russian diplomat whom he was speaking with to just sit tight because when he was re-elected there would be a lot more concessions that he would be able to make. I really feel that our national security will be extremely threatened by this kind of Obama objective. Undoubtedly there will be many similiar changes that he has been waiting to make.

I also want to add that as a woman I am extremely insulted that the Obama campaign is framing this for us as an election about reproductive rights. They CANNOT run on their record so they are using this to scare us. Seriously-I am about SO much more than this. I hold the economy and national security as much more important. Too bad that so many women are so uneducated and ignorant that they will let this one issue guide them.

It's not hard at all. Romney and Obama are SO different. One has all but destroyed America in the last four years, and one wants to get us back to the great nation we were before Obama took office. You participated in the Occupy movements heavily...why do you think things got so bad? Who was in office and had the power to fix things? If they were SO bad when he took office, he certainly took them from bad to worse.

Honestly, some of the posts on here make me sick. People are so stuck on ONE issue only and don't even know the TRUTH about where the candidates stand.

And Dawn...I couldn't disagree with you more. I believe a vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for Obama.

I can only pray enough American's are wise enough to vote for AMERICA and get Obama out of office.

I think the debt Obama has accumulated these last 4 years in not only wrong but immoral. Our economy has gotten worse because of his policy's. During the debate, President Obama claimed the price of gas was so low in 2008 because the economy was tanking. Well, the price of gas has increased 158% since then and the economy is just as bad, if not worse. The price of eggs is up 73%, Coffee is up 90%, Apple juice is up 43%, and the list goes on and on. How long does he think Americans are willing to wait for "hope and change"? I can not wait to vote him out of office. And don't get me started with his coverup of the Libyan Terrorist Attack... Since the buck stops with him lets fire him!!

For me there was no question. I am a woman who wants to protect my rights to reproductive health and BC, and I am a military wife who does not want to see her friends and loved ones sent off to two more pointless wars. The economy is looking up, and I am happy with the way things have been progressing, even if the progress has been slow it has been in the right direction. Also, I am very passionate about equal civil rights, so there was really only one person to give my vote too. I mailed in my ballot 3 days ago.

I am scared for other reasons, I am scared that Romney may win, and I am terrified about what that will mean for the direction of of our nation. It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it.

I have done all the personal research, soul searching, whatever I can. I don't want either of them, so it's very difficult to give my vote. My vote goes to get someone elected, but I don't WANT them. I think they will both do a horrible job. That's where the difficulty is. I have seen what Obama can do, and I don't approve. So...do I take the chance on Romney? Sigh. I just don't know.

My pit in the stomach has to do with a possible repeat of Florida and hanging chads. I am very concerned about some of the voter ID laws. Regardless of whose side I am on, I feel like the implementation of these laws was rushed and that there will be a lot of confusion. That is never a good thing in a democracy.

You have to go with what you believe in most. Make a list of the top 3 or whatever issues that really mean something to you and look up how the candidates feel about them. One of my biggest ones is gay marriage. I have a gay BIL who can't marry his boyfriend, who he's been with for almost 10 years. The BF just got laid off and can't get insurance through BIL without having to pay taxes on it like it is part of his income, which straight, married couples would not have to do. That sort of discrimination really pisses me off so I'm voting for the candidate who won't be trying to take rights away from BIL.

There are plenty of good, non-partisan websites to get your answers from. Good luck, and I'm glad you're voting, even if you don't vote the way I would. That's the great thing about America, freedom to vote how you want to.

I feel sick about the national election and the Senate race for my state. My decision on who to vote for has essentially been made by process of elimination, but I say that facetiously. I did make it a point to lay out where I stand on all of the campaign issues and then tallied up where all of the candidates stand on the issues. I'm going with the candidate that best represents me based on their stated stances on various issues and the issues that are the most important to me.

The sick feeling in my stomach comes from real anxiety that "my" candidate's opponent will win the election. There's real fear there. As much fear as when there was a chance that McCain and Palin were going to make it into the White House.

I am so done with this election. It is truly making me crazy. I know who I am voting for, but I was where you are at now for the 2008 election. I couldn't bring myself to vote for Obama or McCain, so I wrote in my vote. It was all I could do to be at peace with my civic duty. I hope you are able to find clarity for your decision. My church is doing a 21 day prayer asking for God's wisdom as we seek the best choice for this upcoming election. I can send you the information if something like that would help you. Good luck!

I am taking a different approach this year. I am voting every incumbent out. Regardless of my strong conservative values and being a Republican who tends to think more like an "Independent" voter ..I am voting to get new blood in Washington DC.

We have had a bunch of career politicians in there for years...they are at a gridlock and not getting a heck of a lot done for you and me. It is time for our voices to be heard and for them to be told to work together for the good of our nation...or your butts are gone. They work for us..not for cushy jobs away from the private sector when the loose touch with the common people of our country. Those that have been in politics for years live in a Washington DC bubble away from the bread and butter issues of you and me.

Good luck with voting your conscience...so that you won't have the dread feel anymore. I feel so good about my decision..no dread...more of empowerment and advocacy!! I know my vote is cancelled out by millions...but to me...my vote and motives count. You ask how it feels to be totally sure?? I feel great. I feel like a confident woman. And no matter who wins...I voted my conscience.

You ask am I nervous. Nope..not at all. I have an optimistic outlook on life...there are good times..there are bad. We all have trials...but I have faith in my Lord and God and He brings peace to my heart and mind. We have had good Presidents, great Presidents and the not so inspiring Presidents. But...through it all... we keep on keepin' on. Take care!!

As a woman with a family, I say that you should vote for the people who will support woman and children. It is very clear to me who will protect my rights as a woman and who will work harder to be sure there is a safety net for my kids if we were to fall on harder times.

I am a business owner and it has been hard, but a down economy is a normal thing and happens cyclically. You can not recover from a depression-like economy in 4 years. Not possible with what had been done before. My rights as a woman and my ability to care for my children and the environment around us is what I truly want to protect. That is long-term.

Vote for uplifting your fellow women, children and the earth and protect their rights. We must think about the future of our children and their children.
