Just wondering what are your nicknames for eachother? How did you pick that name or end up with it? My ex and I called each other "Dude"...I know, sexy, right? Now his nickname is Butthead...
My husband and I don't really have nicknames for each other. I was watching Big Brother and one of the couples on there go on and on calling each other their nickname...the same one like my ex and I...I think its "Boukie" but can't remember exactly.
So what are your nicknames and the story behind it?
I call almost everyone babe, it's a southern thing I guess lol. I used to call my exhusband babes (with the s) it was different to me for whatever reason, hey babes :P He used to call me babydoll, hey babydoll :)
Now his nickname is dipshit hehe

Mine from him is "dear"...when I really want something - I put on a short skirt and call him Bobby....
Sorry - I forgot to add the story behind it -
Mine (Dear) is because he always (well not always) says "Yes, Dear"
Bobby - because he goes by Bob and he knows I want something when I wear a short skirt (he likes my legs) and say "BBBBBOBBBBYYYY"
We call each other Babe; I also call him Love. When I'm buttering him up for something I call him Sir ;) lol
Lol I call my husband Puffin. I saw it on the girls next door ( thats what Holly called Hef) and I liked it so my husband is now puffin...or If love puff if I want something :)
He calls me nerd...or nerd queen... they say if the name fits.... ( and it does I am a nerd!)
Ok, probably TMI, but when we are, um, gettin' busy, he tells me he's going to make me pregnant. Which is hilarious since I had my tubes tied decades ago, I'm 45, perimenopausal, and he's 55. But SO SO sweet, because we'd've LOVED to have had one together, sigh.

We very rarely call each other by name, even when we are mad it's still Honey or Baby. When we use REAL names, it means something is bad, lol. Hubby calls me "sugarlips" lots of times. My ex always called me his "bride" which I thought was endearing as well.
I had a long term relationship with my high school sweetheart and for some reason I always called him pie, or pie face or facer. Makes me laugh now to think of it.
I call my husband love muffin. Lol! Corny I know!
LOL! Good question!! Your title caught my attention because I use to call my husband Pookie, until I realized my brothers girlfriend called him that and then I just couldn't continue..lol But my husband is Mexican and I've been calling him Simone forever.. It really mean 'yes' i guess but he would use it to answer me and it just stuck..lol kinda weird, but it works..haha Also he calls me Rena (meaning queen in spanish) Or I refer to him as Popi for the kids. It's very very rare that I call him Juan, unless I'm mad and the same for him to call me Maria (name is M., but he and his fam have always called me Maria). Or he will call me Mi Amor!!
