Any of the docs at Valley women for women. The have a new office right next door to Mercy...they are WONDERFUL. ###-###-####. They also have an office on Gilbert and Baseline...but the new office on Val Vista is awesome.
I am looking for an OB GYN, preferably a female, in the Gilbert area and one who delivers at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. I would appreciate any suggestions for a reputable and well-respected physician. Thanks!!

Elizabeth Jarem with Drs. Goodman & Partridge. Love her! She gets the best nurses, and is very respected at the hospital as well. I just delivered at Mercy in April and had a great experience with Dr. and hospital. Her office also does 3-D ultrasounds. Awesome!
920 E. Williamsfield road St 102, ###-###-####. Give her my best and a hug!
I have a fantastic OBGYN her name is Dr. Icovelli and she is with Valley Women for Women. They are located right next to Mercy Gilbert Hospital. She will be delivering my little boy in just a few months. All the Doctors there are wonderful!
Their website is valleywomenforwomen.com. Good Luck! K.
Try Contemporary Care for Women. They have a few OBs.
goodman and partridge are wonderful! They have an all female delivery staff at Mercy Gilbert
I see Dr. Grayson Guzman, he is male, but the best Dr. I ever had. I am a nurse and would trust him with my life!!! His group is called Goodman and Partridge and there are females in his group too. He delivers at Mercy Gilbert, Chandler, and Mountain Vista.
If you actually want to see an OB during your prenatal visits, DO NOT GO to Valley Women for Women. They have very few doctors but PLENTY of physician assistants.
I had THE worst experience there and changed providers in my 33rd week. I had the chicken pox and asked to see the ob. Instead I got two PA's (Holly and Jennifer) and the two of them TOGETHER couldnt diagnose chicken pox. I told the receptionist that I was certain I had chicken pox but she told me to sit in the front lobby, which was full of pregnant mommies, newborns and toddlers!!
There were several other things that happened but that was the straw that broke the camels back.
i see a previous response recommending dr Kells at boojum obstetrics and he is great but i also think that the midwife in the office is even better. Her name is Janice Bovee and she has delilvered all 3 of my children and she is WONDERFUL!! i am a labor and delivery nurse too so i am very critical...the office staff is great as well!! They deliver at mercy gilbert or chandler regional! good luck!
Guadalupe & Gilbert WOmens Comprehensive on Guadalupe west of gilbert
valley women for women they are awesome.. I see Dr. Muniz here is there # ###-###-####
I love my OB GYN. Dr. Kells at Boojum Obstetrics. He is male, but he has a nurse midwife in his office, Janice Bovee. She is absolutely fabulous. In fact, I go to her more than I go to Dr. Kells, but they are both great. Everyone in the office is extremely nice and the Dr.s take time to listen to you. They deliver at both Mercy Gilbert and Chandler Regional. Their office is located just south of Chandler Regional. Everyone I have referred there has LOVED them. http://www.drkells.com/
Hi J.,
I am going to copy/paste my response to a previous similar request regarding Valley Women for Women. I think it is great that you posted this question so that you could do your research before you choose your doctor.
I had a HORRIBLE experience with Valley Women for Women, and I encourage you to find a different group of doctors. In my experience, the NP was the worst, I was sick and she joked at how low my blood sugar was and that she couldn't "find" my blood pressure. To make a long story short, I ended up going to the ER because I didn't feel my baby move for two hours and the doctors and triage nurse blew me off and said I had a stomach bug... I was flown out of Mercy Gilbert within hours, and my baby was taken via cesarean because I was having liver failure (known as Acute Fatty Liver of Pregnancy – AFLP, which should have been caught in the early states had I been seen by a competent doctor). I had an internal bleed, followed by a second surgery and 14 days in a comatose state. If you would like more details please PM me.
I really wanted to deliver at Mercy Gilbert because it is a beautiful hospital - which in retrospect is the wrong reason. There are many great hospitals and doctors in the valley, I encourage you to get a good referral (and I can refer my new OB/GYN who is an MD - only one of the docs at VWFW is an MD). And I also regret my choice to look specifically for a female doc - I had many great (male) doctors at the three hospitals I stayed at, and since they were teaching hospitals I was exposed to anyone and everyone who wanted to poke and prod every morning at the crack of dawn! LOL
You don't realize what an important decision your prenatal care is until you can look back at an experience like I had and wish, and wish, and wish that you had been in the care of better doctors. Thank God the doctors who took care of me at Good Sam and St. Joe's were wonderful, and saved my life.
Oh, and by the way, VWFW never even bothered to follow up with me after I was released from the hospital. I did however follow up with them; I wrote a very heartfelt letter regarding their insufficient care. I don't know why they are even doctors - they are booked to the minute and obviously only in it for the money... oh so nice to hear that they are opening a new facility..
