Better Ob, in the Chandler, AZ Area, Please :-)

Dr Kells is by far the best I have ever had! Below someone else also recommended him! I have had 3 kids and he delivered my baby whom is now 18mos:) He also has a midwife and NP plus himslef and they are all so WONDERFUL!!! I wish I had him all along. I believe he delivers at Mercy Gilbert or Chandler Regional. I delivered at Chandler. I had a long delivery so I can't say it was the most comfortable experience. I go to Christine Brass-Jones. i REALLY like the office. it is a whole womens health center as well as OBGYN. the staff is great and you always feel welcome there. Christine is a great doctor. i will warn you though, the first time we met her we felt like it was a drive by appointment, but after we said something she took more time with us at each appointment. in the end she was a perfect doctor for us and we really enjoyed having her there for our daughters delivery. so i would definetely recommend going to Christine Brass's office.... wwww.trueharmony.com

I know you said you tried New Horizons but my dr is with them and I love her...she's like a friend. Dr. Ernestine Bustamante. She just became affiliated with that group a year or two ago. She delivers at Chandler Regional and Gilbert Mercy. I really like her. She doesn't rush in and out and will spend time with you, even if it's just to chat. She doesn't lecture and she's very friendly.

Dr. Jew delivered my first child almost 13 years ago. He was the doctor on call as mine was not available (don't you hate that!). I have to say, from my experience with him (very limited) he was great. We didn't have any problems and he did an awesome job stitching my tear to minimize scarring.

My OB that delivered my other three children that I really liked is Dr. Steven Leiptich.

I love, love, love Dr. Kells and his midwife Janice at Boojum Obstetrics and Gynecology. They are wonderful. They always take as much time as you need and make sure they answer every question you have. Their office staff has always been wonderul. They even call to remind me that I need to make my yearly appointment. They are fabulous. They are in South Chandler near the Chandler Regional Hospital. My OB is in Gilbert, not chandler, but I loved them. It is Valley Women for Women. They have an office right near Mercy Gilbert and one at Gilbert and Baselin.

My second son was born in June of this year and I also had a hard time finding an OB I liked. I didn't like Goodman & Partridge either. I then saw Dr Brass. She wasn't the one for me either. I switched from her practice when I was about 21 weeks into the pregnancy.

I love Dr Deanna Bullaro-Anderer. Her practice is near Higley and Southern (not in Chandler, I know, but worth the drive). She just delivered my second child and I couldn't say enough about her. She is fun, very caring and takes the time to talk you about how you are feeling/concerns. She was in an office with Dr Shelly Messer until the end of May when she left to start her own practice. I did see Dr Messer a few times- I liked her a lot, too. But my favorite is definitely Dr Bullaro. Here's her website: www.drbullaro.com

I had my worst experience at Dr. Christine Brass-Jones' office. I always had to wait at least 30 minutes for every appointment. Her office staff is not friendly and extremely unprofessional. They didn't bill my insurance ontime so I had to pay for my annual exam out of pocket. I could go on and on. I went there for 2 years and I will never set foot in that office again!

Dr. Brass has a great reputation if you want a natural birth. I didn't deliver with her, but she was my consulting OB (I had a homebirth with a midwife).

Also, there are some great nurse-midwives in the valley - Brittani Hamilton, for one, and there's a really good midwife who works for Dr. Kells with Boojum Obstetrics (her name escapes me at the moment). Additionally, we have a great community of homebirth midwives here in the valley as well.

I see Dr. Messer and have had great experiences with her and the nurse practitioners there. I also saw Dr. Bullaro before she went into practice on her own and had good experiences with her as well.
