We just moved to Gilbert and I am newly pregnant! So I need to choose a doc/midwife very soon. Also wondering about places to deliver. Open to different ideas! Please let me know if you recommend someone/somewhere or think I should avoid a few. We have no family or friends here so I really am going in blind on all of this....anything helps. Thanks so much!

So What Happened?

Thanks for the responses. I have been able to call a few of those places already. I am one of those weird people who will probably interview them before I make my final decision. I'm not super picky, but I like it when you find one that totally makes you feel comfortable.

Oh and thanks for the heads up on Goodman & P.....? (Just forgot the other name). They are the closest office to my house and I love the idea of easy access. So they were on my list. Thanks again!

I love, love, love Dr. Christine Brass-Jones and her staff at the Center For True Harmony & Wellness. ###-###-#### http://www.trueharmonywellness.com/
She delivered both my girls and she blends the best of East and West medicine. I also love her two on-call doctors of which Dr. Bullaro (in answer below) is one of them. She's actually Dr. Brass' OBGYN and delivered her boys. I was originally a patient of Dr. Brass until she took some time off with her kids. In the mean time I had gone to Bullaro and loved her (my mom and sister have also see her) but went back to Dr. Brass when she opened True Harmony. I can't say enough good things about her and am happy to discuss my experiences with you. Just send me a private message with your info and we can chat.  Welcome to the valley and congrats!

Absolutely AVOID Goodman and Partridge OBGYN, they are terrible! If you read online reviews, you'll see why. Dr. Eric Hazelrigg with Comprehensive Women's Healthcare is wonderful, he delivered my son. The other docs at that practice are all great too. Valley Women For Women Midwives are great, my sister had a wonderful experience and they deliver at Mercy Gilbert. Dr. Hazelrigg delivers at Banner Gateway. I would stay away from Chandler Regional, terrible hospital to deliver at.

Look into Contemporary care for women. They are amazing. Also Banner Desert is one of the best places to deliver. Good luck

Dr. Bullaro-Anderer delivers at Banner Gateway. I had such a positive experience with her. She was so respectful of decisions I made and worked with me through a very long labor. Most OBs would have elected for a C-section much earlier but she helped me through it b/c she knew I wanted to have a vaginal birth. She was amazing and I recommend her to everyone. Congratulations!
