Does anyone know of a good furniture store in the Phoenix area that has cute "Pottery Barn" style furniture that is less expensive? I'm looking for a white twin trundle bed for an 18-month old girl that has started climbing out of her crib.

What can I do next?

Ikea has a pretty cool white trundle. We got one for our daughter. When you pull out the trundle it makes a king size bed. It's great for guests and very affordable. Only downfall is you have to put it together. I'm a veteran at putting together Ikea furniture and did not find it too difficult but there are several steps.

Jami B'z on Scottsdale Rd and Thunderbird has adorable stuff. They aren't completely cheap, but maybe less than Pottery Barn? Great customer service, and Jami is there herself, and super friendly. I believe, if she is still doing it, you can get 20% off every Tuesday.

If it isn't too far away you may want to try American Home (Baseline and Greenfield) - I got a notice that they were going out of business so they are having a big sale and they have nice furniture - I would call first though to make sure they haven't closed down.

Try IKEA. It's a pain to assemble, but is usually pretty cute and VERY affordable. You can preview and pick out what you want on the website then pick it up at the store in Tempe. That could save you a LOT of time, since the store is a gigantic two story warehouse and can take HOURS to walk through. Good luck! As far as Pottery Barn style things go, I have found actual Pottery Barn furniture to be VERY durable and long lasting. I was really disappointed with Crate & Barrel though.

Costco Home is where I got my daughters bed. Extremely well made - not cheap, but not as much as pottery barn. Also, Costco.com usually has a few other available. If you don't have a membership - it might be worth the $50 or use a friends.

This might sound weird-- try Costco. I just saw a white twin trundle there about 2 weeks ago but I don't recall what the price was. Their furniture seems to be either really reasonable or way overpriced depending on what you're looking for. Maybe try looking at their website.
